Wow you left it till now to hear it?? :iia:
Well the very first time I tried listening to it was before I got into progressive rock so it felt really weird. Now that I am a fan of prog though, I think its kind of cool. I should give it another listen some time.
The animated sequence in the movie is amazing, too. :allears: Or may ruin your perspective on the song, depending on your tastes. [editline]ohmannotthisagain[/editline] SHIT ON HIM, JUDGE! /c
That entire sequence weirded me out so much the first time I saw it [editline]15th March 2011[/editline]
The end of Ummagumma is awesome. Dunno what Roger Waters was talking about :v:
I've got to get my uncle's PULSE DVD loaned one of these days.. Also, Empty Spaces/What Shall We Do Now? animated part was really great too.
Pretty much all of the animated stuff in The Wall is weird as hell but cool But the part from Goodbye Blue Sky is crazy good
Oh god the raven bursting out of the dove still makes me smile like a lunatic to this day :ohdear: Does that mean I'm crazy?
I'd kill for a vinyl of The Wall
My store has it for a tenner. :smug: I was gonna grab it but I'm not too fussed.

woops forgot the toys in the attic line.
Damn it people, can anyone quote The Trial properly? :eng99:
THE EVIDENCE BEFORE THE COURT IS incontrovertible there's no need for the jury to retire IN ALL MY YEARS OF JUDGING I HAVE never heard before of someone more deserving a' the full penalty of law THE WAY YOU MADE THEM SUFFER your exquisite wife and mother fills me with the urge to DEFECATE (hey judge! shit on him!) SINCE, MY FRIEND you have revealed your deepest fear, i sentence you to be exposed before your peers TEAR DOWN THE WALL! TEAR DOWN THE WALL! TEAR DOWN THE WALL! TEAR DOWN THE WALL! TEAR DOWN THE WALL!
now, maybe I'm just deaf but I've watched the animation tons of times and I never hear the "Hey Judge, shit on him!" line. Is it more clear in the actual song with no animation or...?

I'll give it another listen through my headphones, I could probably hear it better. Also, anyone know somewhere where I could watch the Wall? I'm sure I"ve seen it uploaded to Youtube in some place or another. (not sure if warez...)
Buy it on DVD
I've been searching for it, don't get me wrong. Oh and I re-listened to the Trial. Yeah, I can hear the "Shit on him!" line pretty clearly now that I've got headphones in.
I need to watch The Wall again sometime. Might Livestream it or something. But my hands were tied... the bleeding hearts and artists let him get away with murder! Let me hammer him today!
It took me a while to realize that a girl says something during the middle of the screaming part on The Great Gig in the Sky. She says "I never said I was afraid of dying". I didn't actually hear it until I listened to the a high quality version.
I swear there's like a million different hidden sound clips in DSoM
But none of them are like the backwards one on The Wall.
