You had to go Your own way, have you broken any homes up lately? Just five minutes, Worm your honour, Him and me alone! Best verse I reckon. Also Hey You is definitely one of the best songs on the Wall. I love it so much.

Comfortably Numb, In The Flesh and The Trial are the best in my opinion. And if it a counts, What Shall We Do Now? For those who don't know, its a song that was removed from the album due to length problems, but it was later put in the movie The Wall.
In The Flesh is such a great opener. Oh, and I think Happiest Days of Our Lives is the best 'segue' track on the album. It creates a nice atmosphere. Also, can someone explain to me about the placement of Bring the Boys Back Home? I never really got it. I'm guessing it's some reference to Pink's dead father, but it just seems kind of out of place for me. It'd sound much better earlier on in the album, I think. Goddamn you guys, now I have to listen to The Wall again.

Good morning, the worm your honour. The crown will plainly show the prisoner, who now stands before you. Was caught red handed showing feelings. Showing feelings of an almost human nature. This will not do... CALL THE SCHOOLMASTER!!!!
Stop rambling on about the friggin' brick wall. It's all about the cow. :smug: [editline]17th March 2011[/editline]
Yeah I mean the lyrics on Atom Heart Mother are amazing! OOGAHOOGA-BOOGA-OOGA
Nothing on Wall holds a brick up to Alan's Psychadelic Breakfast. :smug:
True lyrical genius
Watch the movie instead, if you haven't yet.
I've seen The Wall a grand total of once. Great movie, but I don't remember the Bring the Boys Back Home sequence at all.
So good. :saddowns:
Woah, never listened to Atom Heart Mother before. That sounded awesome. Thanks, Akayz! :3:
Woah, never listened to Atom Heart Mother before. That sounded awesome. Thanks, Akayz! :3:
The album as a whole is a bit more outlandish than that one song. But it's all awesome, especially Gilmour's "Fat Old Sun"
I really like Nobody Home. That song has a lot of emotion.
Marmalade, I like marmalade
Almost finished listening to the Pink Floyd discography in chronological order. I'm on 'In The Flesh' from The Wall, so only 3 albums left!
I prefer to give albums repeat listens then move on, that way each album can sink in. :v:
Trust me, they have sunk in. They have sunk in really deep. Especially Animals, The Wall, Dark Side Of The Moon, Wish You Were Here and Meddle. [editline]17th March 2011[/editline] Also, I got one of my friends into Pink Floyd some time ago by showing him the movie The Wall. His favorite song is Waiting For The Worms
And the cow? :smug:
Only 2 times so far.
The debut, Ummagumma, Saucerful, The Cow, Obscured by Clouds and More are worth looking deeper into. I prefer to explore them rather than easing back into the moon and dogs albums.
I really liked Obscured By Clouds, but I have only had the chance to listen to it 2 times too. I myself am not really into the psychadelic Floyd.
I myself am not really into the psychadelic Floyd.
Psychadelic Floyd is best. Would've been so much more awesome if Syd stayed :sigh:
Gonna have to go ahead and disagree with you on that one
I'm more into the calm rock Floyd. I understand that you like the psychadelic Floyd more though, its very nice, but just not for me.
