:eng101: I like their color coordination. Pros And Cons, with Gilmour and Clapton battling on it? I guess the closest thing we can get to that is this: Even their dress complements each other so well...
I dunno dude... sounds pretty amazing to me. :smug:
The end part where the guitars kind of merge makes me think of how good it could've been. I think someone needs to mash some Gilmour solos with this album.. will be so awesome :smug:
Picked up Atom Heart Mother today in a strange backend music store I had no idea existed. :buddy:
4:25 is where it starts getting sad. The Wall is a great album, but the story behind it is heartbreaking.
Pink Floyd isn't Stadium Rock though, I think that's most likely what he meant.
oh ak'z you know me so well :h: Yeah, I meant it sounds like the stadium rock kinda vibe to it. I like the song, it's just out of place because of the vibe. Also: fuck yes going to fye going to pick up some pink floyd/waters/gilmour when I go SO: I got back from FYE, I picked up a collector's edition of Umma Gumma (fuck yeah, came with some pictures, a really nice poster of the album cover, shit is so cash), I got the Wall (movie) and I picked up Monty Python's Meaning of Life and this really cool Beatles poster. fuck yeah i love gettin down on fridays
Bump

Has anyone seen David Gilmour's Remember that Night DVD? On an Island was a fantastic album and Remember that Night was just amazing - David Bowie singing Arnold Layne doesn't get any better.
I was watching Top Gear the other day, and it was the Nick Mason/Pink Floyd skint when Jeremy was reviewing the Ferrari Enzo... SEE HOW MANY PINK FLOYD PUNS HE MAKES.... :v:
[img_thumb]http://farm1.static.flickr.com/149/348143225_e4e3d30e8d.jpg[/img_thumb] Good album :3:
What is it
SO MANY PUNS! :byodood:

Here's my collection so far. Still need WYWH, The Wall.
Get Momentary Lapse of Reason or The Final Cut next :pcgaming:
Get Momentary Lapse of Reason or The Final Cut next :pcgaming:
I haven't given The Final Cut a proper listen yet. I listened to it, it sounded very Waters-ey much like the Wall, which is not one of my favorites. Momentary Lapse of Reason on the other hand, I do enjoy that one quite a bit.
Nah, don't splurge to get those... they're probably easy to find anyway. I would dig around for Meddle and Saucerful of Secrets though. Very worthy albums on vinyl.
I saw them yesterday in Geldredome Arnhem, was awesome!
Who? Pink Floyd? :raise:
Probably means Roger Waters
I saw them yesterday in Geldredome Arnhem, was awesome!
If you say so. :waycool:
I need to watch more Top Gear
You certainly do! Jezza's a big prog fan. He often gets The Stig to play Camel when he's doing laps around the track.
Used to watch it all the time but I've not watched it in a while. Managed to catch the end of an episode earlier today though
So watched the Wall and listenend through the Studio Album of Ummagumma. Jesus, they're both so fucking awesome I can't even comprehend it.
I am looking forward to see Roger Waters live in Herning, Denmark. Though I would rather go to a concert with Gilmour, but who knows, has there been any news about that single show Gilmour would do with Waters? Really, if he turns up in Herning you won't be able to hear the music from the heavy orgasm that will produce in my body.
Oooh, youtubes of the wall live. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zf7HXdZawzo&feature=fvwrel Fantastic. Anyway home alone for the next few days, blasting my cds :v:
Ahw man, I went Saturday and it was amazing, at the beginning with the fireworks and shit, my mind fucking blew and it stayed in a jelly-like state for the rest of the show.
