Im spending the time from now until whenever the fuck im done listening to all the pink floyd albums in a row starting with animals, and going in alphabetical order now brain melter
Strictly speaking, you should start with A Momentary Lapse Of Reason :smug: Anyway: A Momentary Lapse Of Reason A Saucerful Of Secrets Animals Atom Heart Mother The Dark Side Of The Moon The Division Bell The Final Cut Meddle More Obscured By Clouds The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn Ummagumma The Wall Wish You Were Here That's gonna be one erratic listening session.
I hope to do that one day, as soon as I get my Floyd collection finished. Gonna take awhile.
Strictly speaking, you should start with A Momentary Lapse Of Reason
Wouldn't that be under M, you don't include the A. I'm half way through all the albums on vinyl. I still need, Saucerful, Wish You Were Here, The Wall, Final Cut, Momentary Lapse, Division Bell. Once I get all of them, I will listen in chronological order.

Odd, Winamp includes "A" but not "The"
Hey guys, who's listened to Gilmour's collaboration with the Orb? It's fascinating. He did a jam with them and it became an album called metallic spheres. Last one I think is the same song as the first but its a nice timelapse. Goddamnit, even more albums that I have to listen to :saddowns:
My mom got me a Dark Side of The Moon t-shirt for Easter. Pretty awesome if I do say so myself.
Goddamnit, even more albums that I have to listen to :saddowns:
There's no such thing as having too much to listen to. An electic choice is always great to pick from. And get around to listening to Focus and VDGG god damnit.

P.U.L.S.E. stream this weekend. Let's do this.
How about a bootleg stream sometime?

I enjoyed it, but I think as an album it lacks direction. Sounds to me like it was a jam session instead of true craft. Some nice ambient guitar work though. Gilmour has always been able to do that :3:
anyone have any in depth info on mason's kits, including what heads he used?

Was just a jam session that they thought was good enough to mix up and release [editline]26th April 2011[/editline]
How about a bootleg stream sometime?
There's a great bootleg of Roger Waters' Wall Tour 2010 that could be good to look into, it's a superb show
I want to see a proper video of their In The Flesh tour.
So how many of you can make it for a weekend stream? I need the numbers now, just incase only one person shows up like last time. [editline]asdf[/editline] jk ilu hakita
one person shows up like last time.
Oh so the Pompei stream didn't work? Probably because I wasn't there :smug:
Oh so the Pompei stream didn't work? Probably because I wasn't there :smug:
:arghfist::smug:
I still enjoyed it though.
If I can get it to not show ads then I'll come Also 18 days until the wall wooooo :toot:
I've a question. What is up with the person diving in some body of water and Wish You Were Here? Was it like an alternate album cover? I've seen t-shirts advertising WYWH with that and I never understood it. I thought the handshake would be more iconic.
It's part of the album art, it was on the inner sleeve. If you look closely you'll see there's no splash, which fits the theme of incompleteness on the rest of the packaging (e.g the invisible record salesman).
Ooooooh, ok. Thanks for the clarification.
I mentioned to my girlfriend that I couldn't find Animals on CD anywhere, and she picked it up for me when she went out of town and gave it to me yesterday. Best girlfriend ever.
What the fuck, I should have come to this section sooner, I've been listening to Pink Floyd since I was born practically.
What the fuck, I should have come to this section sooner, I've been listening to Pink Floyd since I was born practically.
Well, I'm glad you did come here eventually, since its pretty much the most mature section on the forums.
Except GMF Nope, couldn't write that with a straight face :mmmsmug:
