Yeah, the whole point is to take photos as a memento. :sigh:
It was the fucking Wall played live. I don't think anyone would need photos to remember an experience like that.

Yes, but it is a momentus experience. Will never happen again because Roger is an old fart.
I would blow a photo up as a poster :v:
Here you go, blow up this one. :smug:

I also got one of the red cross hammers t-shirts, and it's going to be fun explaining to everyone that I'm not a neo-nazi
I also met this guy on the tube on the way to the venue who'd seen the show 3 times already in the US, and just happened to be in London at the same time as the gig so he was going to the O2 to see if he could get tickets for the night. :v:
HI GUYS
That was like the best gig ever, Gilmour or no Gilmour.
And Roger's voice has improved VASTLY since Live 8 (unless it was pre-recorded, but it was still an amazing spectacle).
What Shall We Do Now? was probably the highlight of it for me. That or the Comfortably Numb solo.
Also I saw Zenpod outside the venue before the gig and I tried saying hi and he absolutely shat himself
I was stood right next to my dad and he was looking at you, I have the fucking right to shit myself
Also, I thought you'd have better seats, I was in the middle at the beggining of the second block

Unfortunately, most of Roger's vocals are on tape, but yes it was still a spectacle. I never thought I would ever have a chance to see The Wall live.
It's great to see David and Nick with Roger again, and the solo was amazing. I still love my Animals though, and I found this live performance of Pigs Three Different Ones. It's the one from the Oakland show, but this quality is outstanding, nothing like any other version. I've never heard such a powerful performance by them.

Oysters.
David Gilmour and Roger Waters should have an oyster summit.
Or marmalade. I do like marmalade.
David Gilmour and Roger Waters should have an oyster summit.
They should make an oyster album! They could call it 'the pros and cons of oysters' or 'about oysters' or 'on an oyster' or even 'Oystered to death'.
