Started listening to Atom Heart Mother a few days ago, I'm in love with Summer '68 :psyduck:
[editline]20th May 2011[/editline]
And the first Pink Floyd song I had heard was Hey You, which led me to start listening to them, And now they're my top played on Last.fm :buddy:
Comfortably Numb was on the radio today
And not the 3 minute single version
The full 7 minute one :pcgaming:
Local radio stations are best radio stations
They played Wish You Were Here and some Genesis on Absolute Radio today. :pcgaming:
I love it when prog gets played on the radio.

I get the feeling that 4:00 onwards is Pink Floyd-like?
5:00ish mostly you'll get what I think I mean.
I've hardly listened to any Pink Floyd so I wouldn't really know, but for some reason this is making me think of them.
What of it would you recommend that sounds like this, if this is much like them?
I think it sounds a bit like Pink Floyd, yeah.
Well I guess I should listen to loads of Pink Floyd, because that bit is just the best thing ever.
Listened to Dark Side Of The Moon and Meddle. Probably not enough, really. Any suggestions as to what to go for next?
Apparently that's a comic made by Gerald Scarfe. There's one for each band member, too.
The one for Richard Right is just ridiculous.

So the game has been in existence for a while, eh?
Here is a link to the whole thing. Some of it is NSFW, mainly Richard Right's story.

Hello and welcome to Facepunch.
I'm glad you chose the music section to be your first, since this is the most mature section.

Listen to The Wall.
All of it. At once.
[editline]21st May 2011[/editline]
Like, set aside 80 minutes where no one will bother you and listen to it.
[editline]21st May 2011[/editline]
Actually I'm gonna do that now

I'll put it on my mp3 player and go to bed earlier than usual. Give this thing a good listen.

It's absolutely fantastic. As far as i'm concerned, it's Pink Floyd's best work.
I really like The Wall, but it is really difficult to compare to their other albums because there the intentions and concepts behind the album are entirely different than with their previous works. I certainly believe that other albums are stronger musically, but that's a bit irrelevant.

"fuck you, roger."
Wow, Roger's pun was so bad it made David age 30 years
Wow, Roger's pun was almost worse than the puns that have been made in this thread.
David looks so much older with a beard, but really for his age he's a spring chicken
which is great, more solo albums!
in my opinion, their album "dark side of the moon" is the best album ever released to date

I really hope that's true, considering he did coke in the late 80s into the 90s, which prematurely ages your heart.
I gave Animals a good listen today. What's everyone's favorite song on it?
Mine would have to be "Pigs (Three Different Ones)".
