Like me a bit of dubstep. Check out Pariah (http://www.myspace.com/pariahbeats) and Mindflow (http://www.myspace.com/mindflowdnb), good vibes there. EDIT: Oh, and Joy Orbison (http://www.myspace.com/joyorbison). God, I love that guy
Dubstep has finally reached Sweden! Pretty underground, but still!
Can anyone suggest me some dubstep artists who represent the main traits and characteristics of dubstep? I have an assignment where I have to make a song in a genre that I've not composed for before.

Free Dubstep album, it's pretty fuckin sick. One of my favorite artists, and he isn't even signed to a label. http://www.archive.org/details/acp035_wAgAwAgA_-_mrepsican_lp

that's nice
Wow, Reso is totally awesome. I really like how he expands the dubstep genre by using polyphonics, eg letting many melodies groove together. That's the only thing I don't like about DatsiK, he only uses like chords, drum and bass. Makes his songs sound so similar to eachother. EDIT: Oh my, I'm rambling.
I just got into Dubstep, I must say this shit is bitchin'
A good mate of mine has a youtube channel where he uploads dub-step. You guys might want to check it out, he updates it several times a day. http://www.youtube.com/user/Projectlightstyle2
Inspector Dubplate is the best for dubstep on youtube http://www.youtube.com/user/inspectordubplate?blend=1&ob=4&rclk=cti This song tripped me out when I first heard it, filth plus a familiar noise :P http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QH12mdjfUhI
I'll just leave this here: http://www.ukfmusic.com/index
I'm making a new dubstep song. It's a lot better than the first one, but I steel ned to learn how to master.
A good mate of mine has a youtube channel where he uploads dub-step. You might remember me, I've been stalking you for it before :P

Thanks, I think this is the first time I've actually been recognized on here :v:. I remember, back in the community contribution avatar thread thing, right? As much as I liked creating avatars I couldn't help getting annoyed when the same person came back an hour later asking for another one.

I can totally understand that, since I made Ragawaga this awesome avatar: And then he got a new one like a week later xD And yeah, I've only made one attempted dubstep song, and it...well, it kinda sucks. I'm not even sure if it's really dubstep. But I learned a lot from it. Here it is BTW.

Also, I made you an avatar if you like it. If there's anything you want changed please let me know.
That's so cool! Thanks a lot :D And yeah, I think I layered it with a pure subbass, but maybe I should just make it a little louder.
I want the .mp3 to the first video in the OP.
Borgore needs to stop rapping over his tracks although I like his 2girls1cup reference in 'Nympho'. pretty much everything on Rottun / Circus is great and the people crying about how the heavier dub / 'brostep' tracks are 'killing' dubstep are retards. cheers. edit: Broken Note lays down some pretty fucking heavy stuff as well
I fucking love dubstep (listening to it right now LOL)
I really enjoy Puscifer's dubstep remix album.

Depends what mood i'm in, dubstep can get pretty repetitive like electro.
Depends what mood i'm in, dubstep can get pretty repetitive like electro.
Only badly produced dubstep gets repetetive.
I'm really loving this guy at the moment. Nice mix of dubstep, garage and techy stuff.
My current favorites: Reso, DatsiK, Excision, Doctor P, Joker.
Only dubstep tunes I like:
I love dubstep. I really like True Tiger's remix of Enter Shikari's 'Juggernauts' Best part is around 0:35
