Highschool doesn't mean fuck-all if you get a GED and a college degree. A couple of the smartest people I know didn't get through highschool, and one of them never even got a GED. First one is an engineer and the second one is in software development. You'll do fine, man.

I mean I get it, even if you look at it just as a setback it's shitty. I'm taking my education extremely slowly myself, and I get pretty down about it sometimes. In terms of what the main plot it? Yeah, sure. The main plot and questline have a similar kind of feel to 3, at least to me, but it's pretty bearable this time around (although I'm still annoyed that you become really important, [i]really really fast[/i])
Everything else? Naaah
Everything else seems so much more like the original Fallout games, in terms of seriousness and even silliness. I absolutely love the extra things you come across in the Commonwealth, like [sp]the crashed Zeta spaceship[/sp], encountering random new factions (I really like the variety this time around) and even old ones ([sp]BE WARY of the Children of Atom this time around, the past 10 years have made them a lot less peaceful[/sp]), 3 was new waters for Bethesda, and I can't really blame them for it not being a carbon copy in spirit of 1 and 2, but at least they tried. The plot was still dumb though. I give the plot of FO4 and the origins of the player character a pass because it's all so much more tolerable, and hey, who knows what Bethesda and Obsidian have up their sleeve? Maybe Obsidian will release an awesome installment of their own in the next few years. Or Bethesda, because of how much they've focused on the modding community these last few years, will make a DLC/Expansion that allows you to be a completely different character. Who knows, right?
I'm pretty hopeful about all this, really.
