As far as RPGs go, I grew up playing Diablo and such so I really don't give a shit about story in an RPG, I'm much more interested in the mechanics of crafting my own character through skill choices and abilities than role playing a certain character through dialogue and story choices.
This probably why I've never really cared about how shit Bethesda's writing typically is, and why I hate most JRPGs.
