i have no idea what my neighbors would do if they caught me smoking/growing. i don't think they'd be too angry, but still i wouldn't risk it cause i barely know them.
you can control environmental factors to make it ideal for growing weed if you grow it indoors. You can grow it at anytime of the year too. oh yea, and less pest problems indoors.
There is no greater source of light than the sun itself, that's a fact.
There is no greater source of light on earth than the sun itself, that's a fact.
fix'd for you.
I feel like I should know this but do I need special seeds to grow or will the seeds I pick out of weed from a dealer work too?
Of course they would.
fix'd for you.
Oh, please..
There is no greater source of light than the sun itself, that's a fact.
Does the sun stay up for 18 or 24 hours when your plants are vegging? or even 12 hours for flowering? :smug: what if it's cloudy out? your plants won't get much light.
It has full spectrum needed for growing?
Artificial lighting will never beat pure sunlight. However, when factors such as how long the sun is out, and the clouds come into play... Artificial lights really do have the upper hand. If you were able to control the amount of sunlight your plants got, for how long, and the different colours of the spectrum needed, artificial lights would go out the window.
Oh, please..
wow, i actually fixed that for you? last night it seemed so much more of a glaring error in need of fixing than it does now.
You're alright, kid.
No artificial lighting can equal the sun. You can't emulate the sun perfectly. These plants have been programmed to grow healthy and strong from billions of years of evolution while under it's rays. Even with night and clouds, I'm sure the sun is overall more healthy for your plants.
Had a fucking weird thing happen this morning. Saw that TWO fucking seedlings were growing out of the same pot. At first I assumed I accidentally put two seeds in one pot as the other pot wasn't growing yet. I checked but NO, the other pot had a seed. Bizarre, there are still 7 seeds out of 10 so I only used 3. The only explanation I can think of is some genetic anomaly caused two of them to grow. I separated them out and put the spare one in the garden to see how it fairs as a sorta "control". btw, is a 250watt sodium light good enough to grow 3 of them? anyone ever buy seeds online?
has anyone thought of growing weed with that TOPSY TURVY planter you see on TV? it seem that it has a lot of promise and in the ad, the plants are like grown in a green house kind of enviornment. well if i get my own seeds i am planning to do this....
anyone ever buy seeds online?
Yes, what?
You can get better results using lights than purely the sun isn't it obvious really?
I'd rather have more control over the environment.
anyone ever buy seeds online?
Sure, check your PMs.
You can get better results using lights than purely the sun isn't it obvious really?
Obviously 600 watts of high pressure sodiums hung in an environment designed to be beneficial for cannabis are going to get you better results than a half-dead plant soaked in rain out in the cold, but under optimal conditions the sun is a far greater source of light. Artificial light is not yet nearly as efficient as the sun itself.
You can get better results using lights than purely the sun isn't it obvious really?
then u havent seen greenhouse grows yet my mang
A mate of mine was thinking of growing some, I was just wondering how hard it actually is I have checked places like roll it up and they have some pretty awesome set ups but my mate is just looking for something cheap easy and effective, any help would be great.
Sure, check your PMs.
thanks, but i'd rather a canadian site

Zeemlapje, is that for automatic grow?
I'm going to grow but I think I started a little early because it still gets pretty cold at night. So i'm currently keeping my seeds in a small pot but what temperature should I try to keep my station at until it warms up a little more?
Zeemlapje, is that for automatic grow?
automatic grow?? its just a DIY easy to clean hydro setup. if you dont have much room and are limited to 1 to a few plants its the easiest and most effective way to grow.
Thanks for that man, my mate is going to look in to it.
I'm such a noob at this. I germinated some seeds and waited til they cracked open. Then I planted them directly in the ground in a secluded spot in my woods. Should I have let them get a bit bigger in some pots first? I wouldn't keep them in pots though. I want them in the ground no matter what, for certain reasons. I gave them some water to start them along and I'm going to bring them water whenever I get home before my parents in the afternoon. I'm not looking for much success. I would put fertilizer on them if anyone can suggest a decent brand to buy for a guy with not much capital.
