I started watching Another because it seems to get quite a lot of hate, and I wanted to see how good/bad it actually was. Damn, at first I was enjoying it because it was pretty tense, and then it was just boring, and then umbrellas. I've seen 9 episodes so far, and I haven't actually really been that interested in it, it isn't a very interesting thing to watch, although it's probably that I'm just not a fan of the genre. One of the reasons that I'm not a fan is that I quickly go "well why don't they do this?" for example,[sp]why don't they just stop having a class 3? Why don't they always have one less student and make sure that no one gets transferred in? Why don't they just demolish the school?[/sp]I know these aren't practical things to do, but I don't get why they don't do it, I mean they went half way there by[sp]moving classrooms[/sp]and then[sp]moving to a new building.[/sp]These kinda things are why I can never really get into supernatural shows, a lot of the time supernatural events, curses and the like don't seem logical to me, which is probably why I dislike them.
I must say though, I have found the[sp]memories and records altered, so you don't find out who the ghost is[/sp]kinda interesting. I also have a theory as to why the murders stopped half way through that one year;[sp]the ghost died/was killed[/sp]although I'l find out if I was right later on tonight. If that is the case, and that rumor that[sp]the dead person's hands are cold[/sp]is true, then I don't get why they don't just find out who it is and kill them.
The music is pretty average overall, although that sound that plays sometimes always manages to creep me out. The OP is pretty good, although it really doesn't suit the show, I mean the lyrics might, but honestly it sounds like an RPG. It feels as though it should have been in disgaea.

When MC had that fantasy just after the adbrake in episode 7 where[sp]Him and eyepatch danced around the classroom[/sp]I couldn't help but hope it was true, I mean shit, if I was in his situation, I'm pretty sure I would've just eaten snacks in the back of class, maybe brought in a portable TV (those were around in the 90's right?) I do like that though, the clothing is quite 90's which I thought was pretty neat.
