Tell me, if heroin made it harder to feel good sober, why did you take it?
1. If heroin made you feel like crap while you were on it, I damn well would ask why you take it. 2. You're comparing porn to heroine. I know people who've been addicted to heroine. Don't ever use metaphors ever again, because you're terrible at it.
Because over the years I got used to it. I couldn't imagine to fap without and I never really tried.
. . .Really? You're telling me that at no point in your life you've ever fapped without porn before now? You were at no point not in a position to be watching porn while masturbating? Because if that's true, then I think you have much, much, much bigger issues than porn.

They don't watch it because if they don't they'll collapse like a house of cards and go stark raving mad. Physical addiction is an actual measurable problem that affects a lot of people, and if you think for one moment that pathologically watching something is it's equal, then how about you go down to the local rehab clinic and pitch your spiel and see how people who actually suffer receive it. Yet you did do it. Apparently for so long that you were unable to think of doing anything otherwise. And only now that someone has approached you with the novel idea of stopping for stopping's sake have you ceased.

I'm here because I'm trying to understand where you people are coming from, as apparently you have a completely alien mode of thought that I'm unable to grasp. So I'm trying to grasp it. All you asked was "Why are you guys doing this?". You got my answer and you're still here complaining about how stupid we are/I am.
Also why most porn doesn't involve extreme close ups. Go figure.
Why should they?
Then just tell me. Tell me what you want to know. All you asked was "Why are you guys doing this?". You got my answer and you're still here complaining about how stupid we are/I am.
Well, no. I pointed out an inconsistency in your logic and your story. Then another. Then another. Then another. Then I started having to explain things to you, and well, here we are with me trying to explain what sex appeal is and why people enjoy watching sex. I believe my questions at this point are something along the lines of, 1. You don't actually follow the idea of "no porn forever", nor do you seem to care about it. Yet you still post about how you haven't watched porn. Why? 2. You've stated that you masturbated to porn even though you found it harder to masturbate with than without. Why would you ever do that? And why would you only stop when the idea is suggested to you if you could already recognize that porn made masturbation harder? 3. What is the net gain from trying to quit masturbating? What benefit is derived that outweighs the effort put in? 4. What is the difference between masturbating with porn or without porn? 5. Why bother trying to quit porn or masturbation if it's inevitable you'll either fail or express your desire for one or both through some other far more disturbing and unhealthy act? I could think of more, but that's a decent list I believe.
6th day now, don't feel any different at all. Meh, gonna try to do a month without porn, then I'll watch pr0n like once a week or so. Seems like the best course of action for me. Yes/No?
Why should they?
Er, they shouldn't. Because people don't watch porn for pretty faces, by and large. Because it's more about the sexual aspects of the human anatomy, if you understand my meaning.

I quit fapping to porn a while ago. I did it only a few times this year. 3. I don't try to quit masturbating. I just don't want to do it every day. 4. This one you have to decide for yourself. 5. I never tried to quit masturbating. I just try to quit watching porn.
Er, they shouldn't. Because people don't watch porn for pretty faces, by and large. I find giving up porn easy, going without fapping is so much harder
Why not try?
Mr. Scorpio: the main point of this thread is that internet porn is way different than looking trough playboy magazine. The internet has loads of girls on ready access, you probably open a few tabs <- this is the point made in the video; the problem is not porn itself, the problem is having loads of available it in a short time. Instead of getting an issue with like 10 girls in it or something you're getting thousands. Not only that but if you've got a specific fetish you can access it right away, maybe even grow into the harder stuff.

Good god, this thread makes porn into some kind of powerful force. Whether or not you watch it, its just fucking porn. Just because you watch it doesn't mean your dick is going to fall off. Yet there are people in here who act like NOT watching it will fuck you up or that it actually matters. It is just porn, where the fuck is the arguement coming from? I think of porn as a simple unneeded entertainment not a god damn drug. Seriously who cares what people decide to do with it, both parties are right.
I survived the two day downtime of FP now. Are you guys proud of me?
I did some "research" (if googeling "Porn Addiction" can be called research), and I think most of the pros in the OP are absolute bullshit. And I haven't noticed any differences myself, on day 6 now. I really start to question the meaningfulness of this.
I think the bonuses are placebo effects. You believe it's making you better so you act like a better person.
I'm not a doctor, but I don't think your brain cares what you're aroused to as long as you're aroused.
