Free online computer learning course - How to left click! - General

[b]Backstory[/b] Hi Facepunch. I work for Learndirect teaching people maths and english and how to use the basic functions of computers. (no joke, i DO teach people how to use the space bar and how to left click.) it's a job.. it pays.. and i get to see people get angry at computers and throwing keyboards around when they type something wrong :v: it's like i'm working in the tech-illiterate threads anyway I was chatting with my boss a few days back, and i joked that it would be funny if i got you guys to take part in our basic computer course (knowing full well that you guys build computers, programme them and use them daily...) my boss however... thought this was a freaking great idea and went to the C.E.O of our building to put this idea forward. one week later, here i am making this thread hoping to get you guys to do this basic computer course... i would be forever grateful if you guys had a look through it. both to save my job and to have a laugh at stuff you know how to do like it's second nature [b]why should i do this?[/b] well for one, it will help me keep my job.:v: finding a job in this economic climate is hard as hell. for every person that does this little course, we get funds, which means i get payed the course is super easy and only takes 10 mins to do (even registering is easy and doesn't require an email address) [b]All these courses require is for you to click the "continue" button when it prompts to do so.. that's it..[/b] and hey.. MAYBE! you could learn something! --- even if [b]ten[/b] people did this, it would be a great help to keep me in my position and as an added bonus, you get to have me as a online tutor which means you can harass me day and night with hateful comments, Yay! (If you are not in a centre leave blank)[/quote] enter the numbers: 5428 it should say, [quote]Your Centre is: LSBC cic[/quote] after that, log in, ignore entering the myguide tutor thing and follow the instructions (this is of course still assuming you know how to left click and use a keyboard, but if you don't!...((how did you get here?)) This is where you can learn how! Most people's grandparents are computer illiterate, my mom's mom used to work at microsoft before she retired, she was who got me into computers. :love:
