Damnit I was looking forward to this and the reviews killed it for me. Saving my money for Inception instead.

Night said in some nick interview that he changed the pronunciation in stuff to make it more asian, even though everyone is white. He got rid of the Kyoshi Warriors because the movie started to be about them when they were introduced.

Well, I'm disappointed. I'm still going to go see it just to point and laugh, since it's really not all that much money, but I'm now less of a person to know that this director ruined the series.

Hopefully the inevitable second part will be better. I loved the second season of the series more than anything. And hopefully he will do Ursa and hopefully the battles for Ba Sing Se and Omashu will be just as good as the series.

Remember Eragon? Reviews for it were so bad they decided discontinue making movies on it, which was originally planned same could happen here

Dammit. I'm a huge fan of the show, and despite all the warning signs I was cautiously optimistic, expecting something perhaps average, or maybe mediocre. I never expected anything as good as the series, not once they announced the director, but I didn't expect to hear reviews like this. Seriously, is it actually as bad as everyone makes it out to be, or is it just that there was so much hype?

It is actually that bad. Like if you want to nerd rage all over the theater and laugh at how bad the movie is then I would recommend it.

I was angry. Seriously, even the kids in the theater were sighing and complaining about the missing people. So many conflicts are gone, things that actually contribute to the characters. And Momo was kind of thrown into the movie. Except for maybe two scenes he just looked like they randomly threw him in for scene effect. The one thing that bothered me the most was how serious everyone was. The series was a kids comedy. The humor was rare, and Aang didn't act like a kid at all. Just saw it with my brother. As we walked in, some black lady exited the theater saying "I wish someone would have told me it was gonna suck that bad when I bought the tickets". We figured it just wasn't her type of movie. Holy shit were we wrong, this movie sucked, a lot. People are going to start thinking the show was shit, which is way off. Thanks ong.
