The Last Airbender - General

I'd rather re-watch the entire series than watch this movie. And I was looking forward to it too :(

That sucks that they completely fucked up the movie. I used to watch the cartoon all the time, seriously fun to watch, and the comedy in it made me laugh every time. Depressing that they couldn't portray it right in the movie. Don't think I'll be seeing it anytime soon.

What bugs me is that they could have just followed the series's plot perfectly, and it would have been not creative, but the movie would be great. Every change they did sucked.

Dear god, I just got back from seeing it. It was TERRIBLE, they cut so much out. Bad editing, bad acting, bad everything.

Ugh this movie looks/sounds like shit but for some reason all my friends think it's the greatest movie they ever seen. No one pays attention to plot/acting anymore.

I went to go see this movie because it was so bad. If I had gone in and watched not knowing anything about it I would have asked for my money back or walked out of the movie. It's so bad that I went to go see it to RIFF IT and still felt ripped off. Oh, and the only other people in the theater besides my girlfriend and I were some fat guys with the same exact idea I had. We traded jokes after the movie. Honestly if you go to riff it it's hilarious. Otherwise it's atrocious.

i saw a trailer for this when i went watching Prince of Persia a week or two ago and i thought "hey an avatar movie, i'll watch that. avatar owns" but now i think i'll just re-watch the cartoon ive not seen the cartoon in years but i remember it being awesome

You are told what happened instead of being shown. The action scenes are boring. Things which are important happen off screen. Most of the characters are utterly useless, soka doesn't fight once. The script is horrible and jumpy. There is no character development. Special effects are shit. Aang looks like a creepy baby man. THERE IS NOTHING GOOD ABOUT THIS MOVIE!!! NOTHING GOOD AT ALL! Seriously, I was thinking of trying to find Shyamalan's email and spamming it with "SHOW DON'T TELL" over and over again.

Ok, so I went to go see it. I must have gone in there with the lowest expectations in the world because I thought it was actually OK. Don't get me wrong, Shyamalan could have done a better job but I thought it was still decent.
