half life one is bad and boring and i hate it lmao but i didn't grow up with PC games so trying to play it in like 2013 was just setting myself up for disappointment.

I like Call of Duty when I want to chill out and shoot virtual people.

i'd only play half life 1 if people were like guiding me through it b/c i played it and had no idea what i was doing i'm bad at video games that aren't rpgs honestly

Hnnnnng forcing myself to not play MGSV so I can finish my drawing project IT HURTS

hl1 is hard bcuz the only humor is the security guards and the scientists. people like alyx and eli and especially dog make the game a lot more light in hl2~

Also HalfLife feels kind of basic now but that's cause it inspired like everything ever for a while It's like a second doom franchise

actually u know a videogame i been diggin recently is fistful of frags that is some a+ shooting cowboys in the head w/ janky source mod style menu interface

TBH I really don't get all the hype behind the Half Life series. Like yeah, they're pretty good, but I can give you a dozen other games I would much rather play. The Source engine on the whole has given us fairly consistent good games, but still, nothing flat out amazing, IMO.
