As previously stated, back to floor one. Even if you could open a window and get out, you would surely die from the fall.
Start searching the shapes.
Since pretty much nothing else in this world seems to be as it appears, maybe those aren't really windows, but secret compartments or maybe buttons/triggers of some kind.
If not, then just hope at least one of them is an openable window so you can look outside and try to see just what the hell is going on out there.
Go to floor 42. It is the answer to life, the universe, and everything.
