Kind of related, though not as cool. When I was just about to enter Black Mesa East, there was some error with the skybox and suddenly the buildings became super bright. It made Ravenholm easy, but it took out the suspense. I fixed it by changing the resolution.
However, there was a glitch before that. Let me see if I can get a screencap.
