When we grew up and went to school
There were certain teachers who would
Hurt the children any way they could
By pouring their derision
Upon anything we did
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids
But in the town it was well known
When they got home at night, their fat and
Psychopathic wives would thrash them
Within inches of their lives

We don't need no education
We don't need no thought control
No dark sarcasm in the classroom
Teacher leave them kids alone
Hey teacher leave them kids alone
All in all it's just another brick in the wall
All in all you're just another brick in the wall

It makes more sense if you understand the story behind the album.
But Another Brick In the Wall Pt2 is one of the best songs on there.

I was gonna do it myself, but I'm lazy.
EDIT: :( You damn Ninjas.
So our dislike and avoidance of pain is programmed into our brain from birth, right? But what is it about the actual sensation of pain that we don't like? What's so different between say the feeling of being pricked with a needle and the feeling of a feather against your skin? Why is it the way it is instead of the feeling of a feather against your skins being a 'feel-bad' sensation and the feeling of a needle prick being a 'feel-good' sensation? If I focus on it enough I can 'swap' some sensations of pain with those of pleasure, but that isn't 'natural'.

Some people actually enjoy pain...I usually only feel pain for 2 seconds then I feel completely normal (its kinda creepy but cool at the same time) only pain I feel for a while is giant ass cuts or breaks.

Actually I've been doing this myself, seeing how long I can hold my hand in steam and whatnot :v:
Once you realise pain is just another sensation, then you can ignore it.

sebastian! :glomp:
:raise:
That's weird. I feel pain, and I don't like it. Maybe I'm just weak, but I don't care. Pain solves nothing for me.

I've done some stupid stuff before to cause pain to see how long i could hack it, like when you get a cramp and you leave it in the same spot to keep it going. I once stuck my finger in a live electric socket, this was a few months ago, I also stuck my fingers to my freezer.

I don't like it either, but having the ability to ignore it when needed could be real important. Could save a life, even.
