His eyebrows tell the whole story.
If I didn't have social anxiety, I would love to be a police officer too actually
If I didn't have social anxiety, I would love to be a police officer too actually
Social anxiety is a bad excuse. I used to be the run of the mill internet user: basement dwelling white knight who had a terrible diet and got no exercise. I never had the weight or facial hair problem though (thankfully) It just happened. With a push by my parents, I joined a program (and am still apart of) that got me out volunteering with the community while attributing education for those interested in law enforcement. Without that program that I joined as a freshman in high school, I'd be somewhere else. Probably a pilot or Air Traffic Controller.
I submitted my application to the fairfax county pd a few weeks ago We'll see how it goes Supposedly there is a year+ of waitlist
yep, my buddy applied to both PWCPD and FCPD and after months of being led through hoops, got rejected. his brother, who had just gotten out of the military, applied to FCPD and got a job pretty soon. good luck, and if you get the job don't pull me over plz
If you're not doing anything illegal, sure
last i checked it's not illegal to do 100 in the industrial part of ashburn
nope 100% A-OK (I work in ashburn lole) Also ashburn is outside of FFX so I wouldn't give a fuck

I also thought about being a cop, but in the end, I just didn't feel like it was "my" path. If I really wanted to go into LE, I think I would like to become a dectective, maybe a sheriff or deputy for a more rural area. I always liked the open road. [editline]3rd March 2014[/editline] I wish I was over the required age (25?) to get a bio hazard permit so I could be a truck driver. Just for a few years, it would be an interesting experience.
I think one of my coworkers had a biohazard class or whatever on his CDL. I don't think he ever utilized it. I imagine it'd be scary stuff depending on what you haul.
They accept military vets over regular civilians.
Not do derail this thread further, but the veterans preference is overrated. Sure it'll get you a few more points, but those with a good application will get looked at anyway
I think one of my coworkers had a biohazard class or whatever on his CDL. I don't think he ever utilized it. I imagine it'd be scary stuff depending on what you haul.
From what I've read, they want you to have one anyway; even if you never use it.

I know this is a dick move don't read it if you are easily offended. [sp]Some might say, the accident took his breath away.[/sp]
God damn, that shits depressing. :(
God damn, that shits depressing. :(
If you want depressing watch the one where the guy unloads on an officer with his AR15 because the cop wont shoot him (was on probation or something so he hesitated).

I cant watch that video anymore. I've seen and heard that officer plead for his life too many times.

If a truck or traincar is far above the weight limit, pressure limit or whatever and winds up on the road/track there is little the driver can do if it wrecks but will be responsible.
The driver is supposed to check the GCVW at a haul scale
In theory. But depending on the place it's not unlikely to see uncalibrated or broken scales. My first workplace was obsessed with safety training and procedure and never did jack about theirs. (Mine was off by about ~50,000-75,000 lbs)
so is there any planning going on for this or what?
as soon as cubeman quits wrecking his challenger we'll plan things
Challenger goes into the shop monday, We don't know the release time due to insurance negiotations. My shop is refusing to just paint the bumper as it will look wrong. The Adjustors justification of not approving money for the blending is that the bumper is plastic and it will never match ever again even if you blend it. I called bullshit and he said fine go to your shop and request adjustment. Best Case, My car is out by friday like it should be. Worst case I'm driving a 300C or another challenger (SE or R/T) for two weeks. I refuse to let it go longer. Me and a friend are taking a trip down to Myrtle Beach for 4 days and disney land for 3.
You mean Disneyworld, unless you plan on coming to California, and you really should. It's better than Florida.
You mean Disneyworld, unless you plan on coming to California, and you really should. It's better than Florida.
sorry yeah disney world
I'll actually be on the way down to South Carolina next weekend as well. Might stay closer to the coast this time but I don't plan trips like I should and just drive
You mean Disneyworld, unless you plan on coming to California, and you really should. It's better than Florida.
Uh I enjoy my not as retarded politicians, AR15s and cars with out cat converters.
