We went to the middle east and knocked down a dictator who wasn't involved in any way with the 9/11 attacks, then proceeded to waste resources turning the country into a democracy. Until Obama (not trying to be an Obama homer) we were spending very little resources on retaining terrorists who are thought to be in Afghanistan. Stop relying on the fact that "most Americans believe the same as me." All that means is that most of our country's population is ignorant like yourself. At one time "most Americans" believed Native-Americans could be mistreated, blacks were inferior, and Japanese people should be put in camps. If your only support for what you believe is that it's along majority lines, then you can consider yourself just as bad as one of those listed above who committed injustices throughout history.
