2. Hetalia represents World War 2, a tragic and bloody war, with gay sex. I cannot see the slightest appeal on that. Gay sex is fine, but holy god why would you use it to represent a fucking war?
Even if it wasn't gay sex, it would still be just as messed up. My point is that Hetalia makes a laughing stock of important historical events, and it's educating a generation of 12 year old girls into believing that's OK.
