Because Sega made the Sonic characters piss-easy to draw on purpose, but just because they're easy to draw doesn't mean these very horrible artists can draw them with any success.

I guess it's thanks to the very Japanese style of the games. I personally love Kingdom Hearts but I fucking hate the fandom. Probably the same thing that some people have with Homestuck.
