I guess this counts as DA appreciation stuff since it consists of sparkledogs and idiotic art-website morons. I was watching an artist's pay what you want doodle stream. One user was first, as they had posted refs before anyone else. I checked the references to get an idea of how long I would have to wait before it was my turn. [img]http://i.imgur.com/ymdpq.png[/img] [img]http://i.imgur.com/0FZ6W.png[/img] ... Euuuugh. [i]"Whatever"[/i] I thought. [i]"This user knows that they have a very detailed character and will pay the artist well and only get a simple sketch so the 10+ of us will have a chance at getting drawings tonight."[/i] Nope. She got three fully shaded, high detail pieces of the above three characters (including the alligator,) along with their boyfriend who is equally as flashy and overly detailed. And guess what? They only paid FIVE dollars for three pieces of art. The average payment was around 5-15 [b]per image[/b] Probably one of the most inconsiderate sparkledogs I have seen recently. They overburden the artist and make streams uncomfortable and tedious for everyone. /endrant

Followed a link on dA and crash landed on the most hilariously bad announcement video I've seen in months. I am amused by the idea that they're just sitting out there waiting for robots. In the middle of nowhere. With no tactical value or Mann Co. related structures which the robots may try to attack.
