Stamps exist in a kind of bubble separate from the rest of dA's images, there's no direct competition. Makes them extremely hard to compare. Pretty much anyone that's ever made a stamp will tell you how much more popular they become than their other pics. People simply approach stamps with a different mentality, different expectations, and fav because of different reasons.
