In short, it was great.
In longer short, it wasn't that great until the end when everything made sense and the earlier chapters became great.

He's in a dream, and everything in the dream is from repressed memories - cliche, I know, but in the end it all makes sense and is amazing. He dies in the end, by the way. SPOILER ALERT[/sp]
If you can get over the fact that it's an MLP/Silent Hill crossover, I'd HIGHLY recommend it. If you can get past the confusion in the beginning, everything will make sense and it will be great and it will be wonderful and things.
