If by a few threads ago, you mean half a year, then yep, that's me. I'd like to make something clear though, first: I never hated bronies, and I never hated the show itself. What I hated mostly was the crossover art. There were [URL="http://best-of-da.tumblr.com/post/15059959641"]some points[/URL] where I have definitely criticized something for being Pony art, but that was mostly due to either tiredness (24 pictures a day, 7 days a week) or bandwagoning. But the thing is, I never really was sure why I hated crossover art. I'm still not sure why I did. I remember at one point someone asked me and I came up with some shitty reason like "because it ruins the memory" or something. At those points, that was definitely me insulting for content over quality, and that was totally my fault. But it wasn't until months after that I realized I had no idea why I was doing this. I thought about it for a while, and couldn't come up with a reason. It's at that point that I decided to stop hating MLP art just for being MLP art. I'd only really been doing it because everyone else was, I wanted content, and I didn't see any problem with it. Later I joined the PoFP chat because I wanted to make fun of bran (for a totally different reason than MLP, mind you) and somehow got roped into watching an episode. Satisfying conclusion. I dunno really about that, the amount of furry hatred a few years ago was fucking heavy. It's the same kind of hatred though really, it's all a matter of the people who don't like it and the people who go out of their way to actively describe to everyone how much they despise it and the people who enjoy it.

There's always going to be a group that gets a lot of hate, and when one fades into obscurity another takes its place. I'm sure in a few years all the brony drama will cool down and a different fandom will take their place on the internet.

That's an unlikely scenario, I'd say. I think the moment the show's cancelled* the fandom'll disintegrate and became an ersatz of the Invader Zim fandom.

I can tell that Lauren Faust and all the other folk who work on that show are genuinely trying to make a quality product, not just an animated commercial about pink things that face no conflict in life.
I respect that.

My only beef lies with the insufferable fanbase.
