but if i was the creator of lets say, a show aimed for little girls about...snapple bottles, and i threw in some little pop culture references here and there, and a bunch of fat nerdblobs called themselves "bottlers" because of the pop culture references, and started making porn of it, i would be quite creeped out
but to be honest i think lauren faust is too busy engulfing herself in this, i think she needs to take a good, long look at encyclopedia dramatica or /co/ to realize what she has done

She's defending them because they're being attacked for no reason. Well, some of them are with reason (spaghetti everywhere), but just attacking someone for their like of a TV show is rather asinine.
I'm also pretty sure that a major reason of the show's popularity is that it attracts all the attention whores because people like to attack it. So attacking it is kinda helping the problem.
