I've never been to the top of Mt. Washington before, but I have been to the top of Mt. Mansfield. My mom put the sticker on the rear hatch of her minivan, which looked fine until she put another five or six stickers on there as well. Luckily, fate was on our sides when she was later involved in an accident and had to get the hatch replaced.
I love those stickers because it's immensely amusing to me that people thought it was even worth buying in the first place. Like, "look at me, I drove up a road!"

There is a reason the mountain gets so much recognition despite its tiny size.

Just hike it! Sure, you're exhausted and you sleep for two days afterwards, but it's so much more rewarding and you feel AMAZING once you're recuperated. Not to disparage all the families who bring the elderly and handicapped folk up there, I'm glad they have a way to see the mountain. But I'm really whining about the McMansion family and their doggo running around taking 700 pictures in their underdressed striped sweaters. Then they all get food at the restaurant and buy 70 bumper stickers for their minivans and watch Despicable Me 14 all the way back to their EconoLodge where they don't leave the hotel unless they decide to drive up the mountain again or need some more microwave chicken. I have met some weird tourists, man. Weird. I just don't get why people go on vacation to the mountains to see one mountain and then nothing else. That whole half of the state is mesmerizing to be in, it's all so beautiful. but nope, time to assault the graveyard shift front desk lady because the cable doesn't work
Hi guys, northern Maine resident here. Left New England for college out in the midwest thinking winter couldn't be any worse than it is here... big fucking mistake. No 3 foot snowstorms, but there are months where the temperature doesn't get above -30 degrees. Fuck that shit.
