Get used to using hard, confident edges. The term for what you're doing is "petting your lines", which means instead of doing one bold line, you do a series of smaller, lighter ones. This isn't to say all your lines should be stark and decisive, just have the confidence to really define the form you're trying to show.

I think for a propaganda piece, it should either impose more fear or an illusion of piece. the citadel would be something that could be intimidating, but with your piece I think it lacks lighting, and the angle would probably be better off looking straight up at it instead of at a slanted angle you have. an angle more like this:

Back on the shading, it'd be best if you kept it strong, but not to the point where it blends in the background.

I made a notebook at work from the brown paper I got for X-Mas. Cut all my paper in half, glued them all on the fresh cuts. Cut up an on Folder, made new Folds, and slapped a bad magnetic latch on I made from the rest of the folder and some magnets. Glued the stack of paper in on the back, and sealed the edges with more wood glue.

I'd been taking a loooooong hiatus from drawing besides a few digi paints here and there. Still working from refs as I learn, things from artstation and googer images, etc. you may even recognize some

The most amusing thing to me is how inconsistent my drawings are, stylistically and quality wise as well. Probably due to what kind of ref and how lazy I'm being I suppose
