A main menu screen for an hobby mobile game!

Wondering if the buttons look good, or if the background is too busy?

I sat on my porch and doodled for a bit. There were supposed to be plants in front of me, but I got lazy and the sun already set by the time I finished. :/

Open up your value range and throw in some heavier darks. Try squinting, the lap pretty much blends together.
What kind of pencil are you workin with?

I only had an HB on hand and a fineliner. It actually doesn't blend together that much irl. The reflectiveness of the graphite and the yellow colorcast of the lamp on my desk makes it seem that way though.
Good call though, I'll try to push the darks and vary the values. My drawing professor says the same thing on most of my work. :v:

You can get a serious range out of an HB depending on the pencil. I can definitely understand the full depth not coming through tho. Looking at the picture again, I can actually see the sheen on the graphite.
-Prap-
That really looks very nice, especially the illustrations.
I think the logo is way too difficult to read, though. If it wasn't for the text below saying 'Prap' I wouldn't have guessed. Also, on a personal level, 'Prap' feels a bit weird to say. Almost off-putting.
I made a cover for wauterboi's fan track for doom, it's kinda sloppy, but I like how it came out.

Did you come up with the teeth idea? Looks sick.

Yeah haha, was fiddling a lot with the logo placement and figured the way the teeth looked I could fit it in there and I suppose it worked. Thanks!

Personally it feels more like a screen you switch to after selecting options or another page. Maybe you can make it work if you can desaturate the background a bit, and putting in your game's logo somehow wouldn't hurt.

Dug out my tablet for the first time in around a year and drew a business-y person. [sp] Kevin Spacey [/sp]

I think it's kind of static right now. I think having the camera and/or the buttons move around VERY subtly would improve it a lot.

the concept is legit better than anything official. i'm sure the marketing department would have a good "why didn't i think of this" moment if they saw it
might as well polish it a little

the cat is an IDF in-joke among the battle-engineering corps, even I had to have it explained to me lol
Noticed a friendly "face" (?) while having a look through the artstation challenge submissions.

Nice! Kinda nitpicky, but shadows are more blue-shifted when outside.

Oh hey! Yeah spring break is coming up, I think I'll do a cosmonaut walking up to his launch vehicle
Bit of a character concept, one of many I keep kicking around.

It's a bit simple admittedly, due to my skills with my tablet still needing a lot of work, and the fact that it's from a somewhat absentminded doodle.
The digitigrade legs are supported/stabilized while moving by the small thrusters on the sides of shin/calf region, and the pop-out "heels" on the backs of the lower legs.
