This looks great, I just think that the northern lights seem a bit too small and kinda random. If you look up pics, you can see that northern lights are usually big and majestic and fill up a large portion of the sky like this: [t]http://www.fodors.com/ee/files/slideshows/3-Finland-Northern-Lights.jpg[/t] [t]http://digital-photography-school.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/Grant-Collier-Northern-Lights-2.jpg[/t] Have them take up at least like half of the sky on the picture and make them look a bit more connected, that way they will have a lot better effect imo.

The aurora borealis could use some rework, I just didn't want the phenomenon to overwhelm the sky. Something like this, where it's more smaller: [t]http://www.komar.org/faq/churchill_polar_bear_tours/aurora-borealis-northern-lights-canada/2009_11_10_6253-churchill-aurora-borealis.jpg[/t] [t]http://img08.deviantart.net/e34f/i/2012/053/a/9/aurora_borealis_by_steinliland-d4qm0eo.jpg[/t]
I think part of the point being made is that you should use the boralis to guide your composition. Like, in the photos they lead towards the center and then there's a bunch of interesting colour changes in the sky, trees at difference distances and stars scattered evenly as opposed to clustered towards the middle
That and the fact that the borealis has a 3 dimensional form. You can see its depth and 3 dimensional location in the sky in all of these photos. It's important not to just paint it over the top and take its actual form and perspective into consideration.
First page of experimental comics based on my regular insomnia expierence. Any thoughts?
Fantastic. The light in the blinds shot is great and across the board you nailed a feeling of tormenting restlessness.
Yeah, I fucking love it! You really captured the feel!

random doodle, way more fun to keep the momentum going instead of overthinking everything!
Working on a project for my art school entry exams. A long way til it's done but I'm ok with how it's turning out for my first time with oil paints. The theme is "obsession".
is this based on that one claymation?
is this based on that one claymation?
no idea what you're talking about TBH, would love to see it though!

I would paint in the white part, lower part's great but the white kind of ruins the illusion.
Been using Photoshop CS3 for 8 years... Bought Clip Studio Paint (AKA Manga Studio) when it was on sale for 20 bucks. Liking it so far. Taking awhile to get used to the brushes... but I like how smooth the paint goes compared to Photoshop. Hot keys are disastrous... I find myself getting stuck in a random, unknown mode when pressing Photoshop hotkeys unconsciously...
-snip double post-
Clip Studio Pro is awesome!!!!! (though I have to do final touch-ups in Photoshop still...) Clip Studio Pro is great for what it is able to do, but Photoshop still is more powerful for editing it seems. I think I will start painting in CSP and tweak in PS from now on. Auto merge failled... I just triple post... sorry...
Low-res still from a short film I'm making for festivals and stuff. written, directed, produced by
So I got a new lens and camera, wanted to try it out so did a quick shoot with some friends this weekend. Here's some shots from the film I thought looked good, thoughts? Still doing the edit for it at the moment. I need to learn how to use Manga Studio more. Right now I just use it for pencils/inks and tones, then do painting or coloring in Photoshop.
