Here's a glitch thing I made from a photo I took of a really, really pretty sunset: [editline]2nd June 2016[/editline] also: the first digital drawing i've finished in ages. Not my best work, since it's made from a background i started drawing 3+ years ago:
I haven't done any digital artwork for a long, long time, so I decided to scribble down a random, messed up silhouette and painted over it with my girlfriend. [t]https://vgy.me/zzvyTD.png[/t] Hers is the left, mine is the right. We're probably going to do this every time I'm over her house, and switch up who makes the initial silhouette each time. It's fun practice to see the contrast between our styles. Oh yeah, I totally cheated as well because I altered the silhouette on mine. :v:

Finished the line work for my newest print piece, really happy with how it came out. I think I'm going to go screen sprinting for this since I've only really done single layer prints before, should be a good bit of practice. Just got through reading all the books in Old Mans War series. I really liked it so here's a WIP of some fanart I sculpted in Zbrush and polishing up in Photoshop
Primary detail pass I'm really tired now...

Just saw it on artstation latest. Thought I recognised it, final image looks great
Here is the background for a poster I'm working on for a local zombie LARP event that happens annually. They give me some pictures from their past years event and I work something out of it. Here is the image I chose to work with this year (they barely gave me anything this year): Here is the poster background before I have to throw logo and info onto it. The bottom is super empty because that is where most of the info will be. (Parasol is essentially Umbrella Corp, which they defeated in last years game: [t]http://i.imgur.com/6ppU1LQ.jpg?1[/t] Just photoshop for this. Not sure how great it is as a poster, but I'm pretty pleased with it otherwise. I enjoy matte painting. In the past years we have done red, green, and purple, so we decided to do blue this year.
Been forever since I actually drew anything worthwhile to further my comic, been doing too much art for school which I need to bring to a jumbo scanner to scan. New-ish design for the main character, more characters and a scene from a short story I wrote that I will be incorporating into the overall story. Probably should have cropped the scans better but w/e [t]http://i.imgbox.com/3Nyr4807.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgbox.com/1Yb1xhBm.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgbox.com/VrrnfvMP.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgbox.com/YN888PeO.jpg[/t]

[t]http://i.imgur.com/Vo50hkn.png[/t] reworking one of my old sketches from a year ago, i'd like to add some more protective clothing for her legs and feet, might check for some armor references later

Logo for my business-thing [t]http://i.imgur.com/AD4dOKk.png[/t] Bit of background - I've wanted to found my own game development company since I was a kid (I know, so has pretty much everyone else who's played video games) but within the past 3 years or so I've been seriously diving in and learning development, I'm currently involved in a project doing world design, and have a confirmed item coming out on the UE4 asset store, and one more in production. To sell the thing on the asset store, you have to have business entity info, so I started up a sole proprietorship for my, "dream studio," and so now technically, according to the state of Washington and the IRS, it's an actual thing. So I made up an official Facebook page for it and made up the logo above. The name Smallheart comes from a long-term project that I've been on and off working on, that I'm starting to pick back up on writing the story for. I made another logo for that as well, kinda based off of each other. [t]http://i.imgur.com/Pg1dm4g.jpg[/t]

The figure is far too peripheral for me, I barely noticed them until I'd been looking at the image for quite some time. Interesting thought on a composition but just be aware it's not very traditional so others might miss the figure originally as I did. The value compounds the issue a bit since it almost fades into a vignette effect at the edge rather than drawing your eye towards the figure. I think I only spotted him when I realized nowhere towards the center looked particularly refined and assumed there'd be a highlight point with finer brushwork.
your composition would be improved by cutting a little off on the right and adding more to the left so that the figure sits on the left third. currently he's more like an afterthought with the focus on the white void
your composition would be improved by cutting a little off on the right and adding more to the left so that the figure sits on the left third. currently he's more like an afterthought with the focus on the white void
something like this?
that works much better
It's a shame too, I love to see rule breaking succeed and I'm glad you at least tried to go for the ultrawide comp, despite it being hard to read. New one definitely reads 1000x more easily.
