I know literally nothing about guns so can't say anything about how that looks :v:
don't let's get onto this track, you'll entice the gun spastics out to pointlessly analyse the functionality of the drawing of the gun in sad detail. it looks like a gun to me, I believe in its potential to fire drawings of bullets lol
Oh sorry, didn't notice you weren't a native english speaker, its when you make lots of short lines instead of one long line, making the lines look messy and scribbly. it lowers quality of work a lot. The easiest way to fix it is just to make multiple points on your canvas and practice connecting them with one straight line, and then try connecting 3 with a smooth curve. It just takes a bit of getting used to using a tablet as well, since it's new to you.
I kind of tried to use a ruler on some of the lines, I usually never draw objects this large, back when I drew a lot on paper with your usual pens and pencils I made a lot of comics and the frames get kinda small when it's A4 paper.
Thing is though, for some reason the tablet registers this plastic ruler as part of the drawing surface so I get a funny, little too bold line.

lol don't use a ruler, use the line tool within whatever drawing software you are using

Does your tablet have touch? It's probably registering your hand holding the ruler though the plastic. You should be able to turn off touch with the top button (if its one with buttons) or in your wacom settings.
You would be better served to learn to draw a straight line, but if you do need a pin straight line some time, you can click in one spot on the canvas, press and hold shift, then click where you want the line to end. This will use your brush at full pressure though, and can look very lifeless and stand out in an otherwise hand drawn image, so use with care.
edit:
Also yeah a line tool if you have one, I'm used to programs that dont.
New boss at work. Want to screw with him on April Fools.
Using part of an old pivoting display unit and a blurry photo he has pinned in the lunchroom I had a plan. Also learned in the process that while I had the photo at home the day shift was so retarded nobody ever noticed that someone had swapped the photograph with a cat. :v:

Still need to figure out a good place to put it before he comes in for the day. Might try grabbing a ladder and mounting it to the wall twenty or so feet over the lunchroom door so you immediately see it when he heads for his office.

I like this, I think it's really cool and atmospheric, but isn't it kind of weird to have the post-processing VHS effects on a resolution that's unlike any TV?
I kinda like it.
About the reddit thing; yes, a friend told me. I don't really mind, but it's kinda strange how he couldn't throw in a link while he's at it. No effort required, you know?

Pretty awesome concept, and it's painted fairly well too. It's not perfect but overall good shape on the squatting man's left arm/hand-- the right hand is a bit more off. I like the idea of this scene being centered around dramatic lighting, but I think it's all together too lit up. IMO the only light sources should be one light in the hall and the one inside the display window, I don't think the rest of the hall downwards should be lit up that much. The perspective has some wonky areas here and there. Another thing that seemed off was the window frame down the hall. It just seems weird being completely gray and opaque while the one with the astronaut is transparent and dark with minimal reflections. Maybe you could make the other window pane a bit more dark with some dimensions/props inside of it?
I've got some more little animations here

he looks like he's pulsing with fastness
It really needs some bushes or something going past him in the other direction and out of sight. as it is it doesn't look like he's moving, just going around on an invisible spit lol

I was going to do doughnuts instead of rings and do the striped floor, but I think i'm over it really. lol
here's a cool little experiment with abstract painting that i made.

they're made with rotten food and paraffin. i leave the food in a mold where i pour the hot paraffin in, after it dries i take the mold out and leave it to rot for a week and this is the result. these were really pleasant results so i might make a few more.
That's an interesting technique. Have you tried making other some less round shapes? Squares?

nope, but i'm definitely going to try shoving more food in there. also maybe instead of a backlight i could light the paraffin block from the sides, there's a lot of stuff i could experiment with.

I'm supposed to be doing some design work for my youth group but I need a shit load of guidance cause I have no idea how logos are supposed to be designed. Are there good resources for this?
logo design 101:
vector all day erryday
it has to look good in black and white before it looks good in color
know where the logo will be used, will it be printed, stitched on hats, only seen on the computer?
simple is probably better
you are designing a logo, not a brand. A logo is like a signature, not the whole package.
I would say that the first one looks like a house with a cross in it, so probably something religious, but that motherfucker is getting rocked by an earthquake or something
The 2nd one looks like a house with a cross in it, so probably something religious, but that motherfucker is either floating in some clouds or has some graves or weird bushes in front of it. both of them say "i am religious" or whatever
The first page for my webcomic after the prologue. Spend a while on it, I'm not very familiar with greytones yet.

The mix of hatching and values isn't a good look IMO. I'd replace almost all of that hatching with values and only use hatching in small areas of heavily textured bits. If you haven't seen the walking dead comics, definitely take a look.
oh god it's the zombie apocalypse
I'm going to fetch the ladder in order to write peculiar remarks on houses at random
I can't draw humans :C

The story takes place in Norway, writing relevant to the plot is in English for convenience.
There will be more of it throughout the story. Like the sign in the second panel in the page below.
