I don't know, I started these out without using any opacity (except for the second one), so I think my highlights ended up being way brighter than I intended.
The first one I think is close to the ref, though, because it was really saturated

Your title doesnt stand out enough, you might want to consider trying a font where it isnt in all caps to help with reading it as apples, even try APPless or something, or wll caps but a brighter colour in app and faded a but more on less. Some way to seperate the two parts of the word.
Personally I would hope by the time we are embedding usbs we would use something better than usb 3.0 :v:

Color choices are pleasant. Decent composition and pretty neat landscape design. The grass below the ship is probably the weakest part of the piece IMO. I don't think it is, but it resembles that photoshop default grass brush a little bit the way it's rendered. The ship is a bit asymmetrical in shape and edges of the ship's shadow are too soft for how close it is to the ground.

I almost made the bench shadow form exactly underneath the bench until I realized how unrealistic that would look considering the location of the light source so I pushed it further left.

My point was; building a strong foundation is important to your learning more advanced stuff and you haven't exactly done that yet.
For instance, the subject you drew has a large number of inconsistencies with your reference. Even though that's not the goal of your study, the way your lighting effects your subject would still be incorrect because it's built on top of things that are incorrect.
Sometimes it's fun to mess around though and I don't mean to knock your effort completely. I mean, you're doing more than me.
But you shouldn't jump past a lot of basic stuff that you have yet to master.
