I don't see the point in that. The convenience of the thread is that it's on the same forum everything else is.
I understand why they would do it though, since hobby is a much larger spectrum of interests and works than art.
Been messing around with Illustrator at work, and making minimalist movie posters, but for games. I just finished this Metal Gear Solid poster today.

I thought about this yesterday, but now that Web Dev was merged into Programming, it wouldn't be a terrible stretch to put the Creative Corner there as single forum and rebrand the category as Creators section.
The mapping and modelling forums are already a bit more on the art side than programming, after all...
If I'm not mistaken the section also was overall a bit more active than us programmers, I'm a bit sad to see it go as such.
It's likely a pretty bad idea to ask Garry about it for the next few [del]days[/del] weeks, though :v:

gee calm down
the images stick out way too much because they don't have the same filter over them that the backgrounds do. in that second one especially, because the background looks all grungy yet the writing and the image on top of it are completely clean. propaganda posters don't have that grungy look just for style, they have it because they ARE old and weathered. id say get a clean background and stick that filter on top of everything in the image

What do you mean calm down? I wasn't yelling at you or anything, I was just annoyed that someone would leave a negative rating and then not tell me how to improve. How was that supposed to help me?

Have you tried upping the contrast. It could feel flat because of how close all of the values are on the color parts
it looks like the stunstick or w/e is behind the hand because of the area near his pinky, is that intentional?

It could be a good idea to add some motion to the picture. I mean, now the plane looks so clear and motionless it's almost looks like that someone just threw a molotov at an airplane monument or something.
