Also my Tumblr just reached 50 followers which I'm super hyped about! I don't reblog work so it's awesome knowing these people followed to see my stuff (or so I'd follow back)

Drawn with India ink and Water Colours, really getting into using brushes over pens.

aaa it's stuff like that which makes me feel like i'm improving, thanks man!
When I showed my friend the first Simpsons image I did she laughed for about a minute which felt rad, all the reblogs in the world can't compare to seeing your work actually effect someone to that degree.
Oops page king again! Have a never before seen page from my sketchbook, drawn at my friends place at uni at 3 in the morning, both of us on MDMA and him shouting words at me to draw. I understand it's not everyone's cup of tea, but if you're into that kind of stuff I definetly recommend drawing while on it.

A speedy bit of environment art, hopefully this makes sense to people other than me :v:

He's blind so he pretty much tosses everything towards the pot, you just have to make sure the right stuff get in. Feedback would be great

I would love criticism, aside from some obvious perspective and shadow geometry errors - those are already acknowledged.
guys what you think of this

They both look really nice. Main issue with the right one is that my eyes are drawn up to the top right, rather than through the whole image. The area of highest contrast is currently top right with the white birds on the black background, so when you look at it you tend to initially ignore the rest of the image. But you might have wanted to draw they eye there, Im not sure.

Maybe next time use some higher opacity brushes, it will help help the image from being less flat, also use more saturated colours to help with that as well.
The concept is nice though and the expression on that character in the back is great.
@Blazedol thanks man
@Zukriuchen Yeah I purposely didn't write anything for this one yet, I felt that if I really want to tell a story with these paintings, I'll need to take my time with the writing. I'll probably come back to write something more fitting for this one after i'm done with the next painting.
@Bobie, you're right, I was really happy about him right up until after I posted him online, then this wave of dissapointment crept over me as I saw how flat and bad it looked. I think both the fact I picked a rather flat pose and the red rimlight on his face are what I did wrong.
@Mrcakefingers very true, with all of the other rocky dudes theres a focus on their faces with the use of lighting, except this one. I tried to compensate for it by lighting his face with dark red, but all it did was flatten it.
Thanks alot for the comments & crits, guys. I'm gonna give Ihsan a big modification, ill post it soonly
Two soldats having a chat.

First attempt at block printing. (If that's what it's called) The design was laser cut from birch plywood.
The birch ply design was then coated with shellac/button polish and then glued to an MDF base.

and also did it in my regular shading style

I'm not sure how I feel about the first one. If I actually made a damn background for once, I might like it.

Oh hey, I saw this on Reddit's front page today.

How bad is it that I'm not instantly noticing those errors if it is indeed obvious to everyone else?
How bad is it that I'm not instantly noticing those errors if it is indeed obvious to everyone else?
They're really mostly obvious to those who have developed their artistic eye for noticing such things
I don't think it's a bad thing that I see nothing wrong with the picture, it's just a sign that he's a lot more adept at seeing tiny artistic mistakes that might only stand out after a lot of scrutiny

I really like the first one, seems like with some development it'll work out really nicely.
I'd say try to keep your lines more obvious, the scratchy look is good when done at the correct points, right now a lot of the lines just blend together.
[editline]2nd June 2015[/editline]
I just had a really good example pop up on my Tumblr feed

He uses lines the same as yours but you'll notice the outside lines are cleaner and much thicker than the inside ones, making it easier to work out what's what in the image. He also makes sure the whole body is stretched out, to avoid any tangents or overlap hiding parts of the body, I understand your characters are lanky and stretched, but try find a way to make the arms stand out from the legs, as around the thigh area the amount of lines makes it look like a mess.

Hey guys, I am doing a streamy stream right now. I find that having an audience (real or imagined) helps to motivate me in the same way that having a boss in the next room motivates me.
Let me know what you think (also about the stream speed etc)

I seem to remember my previous streams were a half-decent resolution. I might go back to Ustream instead of Youtube
