Haven't really shared anything in a while, so here's a study of a train

I wanted to practice doing more in-depth sketches before I get into the painting itself. this is what is started with:

Hello, I heard this is a place to share your artworks, so I started practicing art 10 months ago and I would like to uh share it so I can get criticized to death so I can improve.
and Uh, I like learning.

For the sake of the people you're showing, the first thing I'd recommend is much darker darks. A pen or even a marker would help because I can hardly see what you posted
Another thing he/she can also use is taking pictures with better lighting condition, use a software to crop and keep only the paper parts, then fiddle with brightness/contrast a bit. But one thing to keep in mind is that softwares can only take you so far. Shading with darker tones and a good lighting condition are very important.

Am kinda unfamiliar on lining with Pens or Markers, is there types of Pens/Markers that are more suitable for lining?
All I own at the moment is this

You could even use a Sharpie (practice with it first before drawing over your lines), but if you're at least somewhat serious about your art you ought to invest in some decent supplies - sketchbook, pens (I love Micron but find what you fancy), pencils with different lead weights, that sort of thing. It's not necessary but at this point your art is almost invisible
Mechanical pencils are fine for both lineworks and shading. I recommend 2B for almost everything from lineworks to shading. To me 2B is pretty much the best type since it can create very dark as well as light tones.
If you are not confident with shading lighter tones, you can use a paper stump/tortilion.
You know living in a country who is still living in the stone age was probably not the best idea, Ordering online is out of the question at the moment unless I figure out how to get out of here.
Would it work if I decide to make the press a bit more harder with my current Pencils?.

The more detailed the sketch (Don't overdo it, though), the easier is the shading process. Many times I was impatient and started hatching too soon and was met with a shitty result.
Good colors. Did you pick them digitally from the source photo, or using the eyes?

I wouldn't agree with that, because then you run the risks of 1: spending to long on what was supposed to be a sketch and 2:really constraining yourself in terms of how you paint.
Not quite sure I understood what you were trying to say, but I hope I did.
I'm usually pretty reluctant to show my art, but I finally pushed myself to uploading them somewhere.
It's mostly quick sketches I did in the past year, sadly most of them on graph paper, since it's the thing I have pretty much always on hand.
Hope it's not too much of a content dump
criticism is always appreciated :)

I used my eyes, I'm not really all about picking from the photo, lol

I think he means there's less struggle of figuring out where and how to paint when you aren't as experienced at spitting out decent shapes and stuff in the form of paint without any kind of guideline. Also, I'm doing this mostly so I can improve my coordination and precision with my tablet because I used to immediately start with painting and avoided the sketching altogether.
Anyone any experience with art theft?
I've found out yet again that some of my art is being sold without my consent or knoweldge.
Which understandably pisses me off quite much.
Ive found multiple sources trace back to a site called "vk.com" that is completely in russian that sells even more stolen work.
Any advice whatsoever is appreciated, as im seriously considering quitting uploading any art or plastering huge watermarks over it.

isn't vk some sort of russian facebook clone?
No clue but this here sells a lot of stolen artwork.

I don't paint, I draw with pencils, so I was talking from that experience. And also I was talking about 20+ hour projects, sorry for the miscommunication.
Another doodle, and some computer magic for color.

Get some printer paper and draw on that. Or better yet, get a cheap $5-10 sketchbook. While you don't want to draw on anything too expensive, your art deserves to be on a nice blank sheet of paper. But that aside, you've got the right idea! In my opinion it is best to learn art through observational drawing, mixed with drawing from your imagination, so just keep up what you're doing, draw every day, ask for help when you're stuck, and you'll go very far!

Cartoons and fanart are fine for when you're just starting, but I'd recommend doing some observational drawing at some point. While it may seem boring or unnecessary, the people who designed pokemon in the first place had a clear understanding of proportion and form, which are best learned from drawing things you see in real life. Once you get the fundamentals everything else gets a lot easier, especially coming up with your own ideas and designs. But so far you're doing great! Like I said above the trick is to just keep drawing all the time.

Take your art outside in the day for a picture, I know its easy to get over excited and do it immediately but you will get a far better picture so everyone can see better.

I appreciate the suggestion although am really unfamiliar with Observational Drawing Exercise, do you know any Websites or even a book that could be useful to understanding Observation Drawing?

apparently yes, it's called vkontake and it's basically the russian version of facebook. they offer the site in english but i don't know if they're big enough to have people who moderate stuff speak it but you could still try reporting it, maybe?
