My dreams always consist of teenage black girls that steal from and attack me.
It's usually friends in my dreams, but sometimes I have these dreams where I meet some girl I've never seen before in my life, and I never remember what she looked like or what her name was.
All I can remember is that I genuinely loved her, and that no one else in my dream knew who she was. Those are the only two consistent traits of these dreams. It's incredibly eerie how realistic it feels.
This may sound weird, but I've only ever seen one person in my dreams, and it recurs almost every night. I can never make out her face, but it's a girl and whenever I wake up after one of those dreams, I always feel empty inside, like its someone I wish I could love but just can't because she doesn't exist.
Yeah, just like this.
We only use like 10% of our brains or something.
I like to think that like since God made us in his image, if we unlocked the other 90% of our brain, then we'd have fucking telekinetic powers and shit, and be kinda God-like, in a way.
It is possible to use 100% of your brain, it's called a fucking seizure. You only use 10% of your brain at ANY GIVEN TIME, you use 100% of your brain, just not all at once.
And telekinetic powers are impossible brodango.

Do you ever get that empty feeling afterwards? I sometimes feel depressed after I wake up from these dreams.

I feel like I want to go back to sleep to dream it again, but I can't because I'm wide awake.

Yeah, but then think about all the times when you died or your asshole friend crashed your car or you get fired for severe negligence at work or embarrased, and then you wake up and it's all like "god fucking damn I am so happy that never really happened."

I don't have very many of those.
I had a dream the other day I killed one of my best friends.
We were going back to my friend, Raed's car. Me and him were walking together and my other friend, James, was walking ahead. He got in the car first and I looked up and saw him and he said something to me. Nothing to kill someone over. He said something like,"You're gay," or "You're a bitch."
Well, I decided it was something to kill someone over so I did just that.
I turned to Raed and asked to borrow his sweater. He gave it to me and I walked to the car and got in the seat behind James. I then smothered him with the sweater. I was smiling for some reason, the whole time.
:iiam:
I don't remember any of my dreams in a very long time... I used to remember them constantly.
I used to have a strange repeating dreams of me falling. Like I jumped on a soccer ball, flew thousands of feet in the air, and just fell for a long time. and before I hit the ground I woke up.

You should try writing down what you remember of your dreams when you wake up. It's really cool to look back at it awhile ahead.
I love my dreams, because they're always so hilarious when I wake up. Unfortunately I've forgotten them all at the moment as my brain seems to decide that dreams are straight for the recycle bin, and every time I write them down I tend to format soon after and forget to save them.

You should try writing them on paper instead, I hear it's more reliable in some cases.
I never even pay attention to my dreams when I wake up in the morning, and I can never get a vivid image of my dreams back into my head for some reason. I can only remember bits of my dreams when I do think about them.

You should try harder and write them down. I don't mean this in a negative way, I mean this as a motivational sense.
P.S. I think I might make a thread about dreams you had last night in fast-threads... Anyone think this is a good idea?
Actually aren't people, I'm realizing that my dreams really have no detail in the person's face, instead it is more of a daydream like feeling and I really have no clue what the person looks like, but I know the symbol in my mind, which is how I recognize that person. My mind fills in the rest of the gaps based off this knowledge.
There has to be more to it than that though. How does the brain assign a mind of it's own to each individual? The minds are far too intricate to just create on a whim, and there are a lot of them too.
As for thinking too hard, well that's a good thing. Deep thought unlocks new doors.
It's not creating minds on a whim. To put it easier, imagine this: In a video game, AI have scripts that they run that tell them what to do. They don't think for themselves, they are just set to do it. Kinda like in a cartoon. The characters don't think to do that, they just do it. Dreams are a lot like movies in your sleep, sometimes horror, sometimes love, and sometimes action.

Whats your name? I want to watch the news to see if you end up as a serial killer.
Have you played Assassin's Creed 2? The doctors wear outfits like the one you're describing, maybe your dream got it from there.
I've never played that game, I've only seen the trailers.

It instinctively assigns random shit to people in order to make them seem normal. If your brain cocks up, they end up in uncanny valley and you get nightmares about zombies.
Usually they are a combination of people you know, see on tv, see in video games, etc.
For example you could have a family member pop out with someone elses head or something weird like that.
That's like when I dream of going to someones house, except their house is my house, or someone else's house that i know.

Those fagots appear in one of the Assassin's Creed 2 trailers.
I tend to have dreams where I save someone/a group of people/the entire world. I always wake up feeling proud as fuck, then I remember it was just a dream.
I don't know, but I wish I could meet them cause that's the only time I ever get laid :saddowns:
*creepy picture*
thanks a fucking lot, now I'm going to have nightmares
Are we this stupid FP?:colbert:
No, just him.
Lucky.
My characters don't repeat. I sometimes meet family, friends, but when I meet a random character, I don't ever encounter him again.
But also, I hardly remember dreams. Twice a month? Anyone got any strategies for remembering dreams better?
They are different parts of your conscious and subconscious mind.
Evil , evil parts
asleep me is much smarter and more creative than real me >:V
The other question is how does our brain do this? How is our brain able to create so many different "complete" minds and keep track of them all as they were individuals?
Our brain is a lot bigger than you think.
We only use like 10% of our brains or something.

Won't argue with you about the religious part because that won't get anyone anywhere, but the humans only use 10% of their brains shit is complete nonsense. I mean it makes no evolutionary sense; why spend all that time and resources developing something you're never actually going to use? If human brains were 10% of their size, infancy and pregnancy would take a lot less time and energy because we wouldn't need to develop our massive brains, so if brains could be that much smaller/less complex and still work they would be.
EDIT: More, well sourced information http://www.snopes.com/science/stats/10percent.asp
I have had a few lucid dreams before, never been able to turn it on at will but I learned how to wake myself up anytime i want. Also am I the only one who loves nightmares? I mean, they are fun as fuck.
Also for those of you saying your dreams went for 4 hours or so real-time, you only dream for 7 seconds or less, it just feels like ages.
Sometimes people I know, sometimes random characters created by my imagination.
Also, when relatives die, I used to dream of them a few days after their death, like a final goodbye. The weird thing is, my grandfather died recently: I dreamed of him but, in-dream, he turned out to be an imposter. Dun dun DUUUN. :ohdear:
