Lolling at how many people know nothing about basic photography.
I have myself a Nikon FG 1982 that I shoot b&w's with, but I also borrow my school's D40/50 if I feel like doing digital (which is the majority of the time, film's just a hassle :S)
Your dog is a submarine
Has this turned into a photo dump?
Lolling at how many people know nothing about basic photography.
Same.
Not to be a dick or anything but they're better than what you've produced, by a long shot.
Lol I wasn't trying to show off. Everyone else was posting pictures with their cameras so I thought I'd throw it in. I'm not compeating here. I couldn't find a legitimate needle on my first aid kit.
Has this turned into a photo dump?
Well considering the OP was asking for advice and recommendations on different kinds of cameras, posting pictures taken with different cameras to show their capabilities kind of makes sense.

I have a Canon XT DSLR and a Rolleiflex 2.8c TLR but no true film SLRs.
I have an oldish Canon EOS Rebel 2000 SLR, but no film, plus developing things is a bit inconvenient.
:ohdear:
It was her idea. I just shot it. She was actually a really good model for this assignment. She brought over a shit ton of clothes and stuff, changed into multiple outfits for every scene, got into strange, crazy positions for me, and even laid down in front of a church on the wet ground. Hot damn, I love her.
Lolling at how many people know nothing about basic photography.
Why would you laugh that people are learning how to take good photography? If someone likes doing something, why should you laugh at them? Although, I'm not one to talk. I'm all for people insulting you for being a furry.
I really want to post a few of my photos, but you guys probably won't like them. :(
Nikon D3000: Latest cheapest Nikon DSLR. Uses SD. Canon rebel: Latest cheapest Canon DSLR. Uses some other card. Canon T2i: Best if you want to shoot video as well. Canon 5D: Top of the line photo and video. Used to shoot the season finale of house. I'm of course going by the fact that OP meant DSLR not SLR. I would stay away from Pentax. Canon or Nikon is the best way to go.
Might I point out some threads of interest, though I know a few of you know them already. Creative Photography That Doesn't Deserve a Thread, more or less a random photo dump for when you don't feel like making a thread. Lots of people talking, critiquing, and sharing interesting pictures. I'd recommend it over making a thread. the "Which camera is right for me?"
I haven't brought one yet, although looking forward to buying a digital one in the near future! What model is your SLR and could you please write a quick review about it. Cheers, Blue. Here is some of my photography.. I've got my Canon EOS 400D, with it's 2 kit lenses (18-55mm & 55-200mm). Planning on either getting the 85mm or the 28mm next. A few of my shots:
Still looks like good picture.
I've been meaning to get one for a while, but I'll have to get a cheap one. :saddowns:
Taken on my [Cannon] Rebel T1i Standard 18-35mm Lense. It does the job just fine.
I have a Canon Digital Rebel XSi, the kit lens, and the 50mm f/1.8 II. It's a good little camera.
itt we just post pics and say camera Nikon D60, though hoping to upgrade to the D300S pretty soon. The D60 is a great camera, Nikon are a fantastic brand. It's a little outdated now in the Nikon range and there are some better models for the price. I payed about £450 when it first came out which was about 2 years ago. But it did the job to an extent, and now i'm looking for something midrange for when I start uni.
I've got an XTi, but I'm just a snapshot-happy hobbyist and camera collector.
