and the comedy was better.
:crossarms: The Boondock Saints II
Twilight. Now here me out. Sure when it comes down to it the films are awful. But every girl I know absolutely loves them. And it can really work in your favour if you can put up with this tripe.
:crossarms: The Boondock Saints II
Boondock Saints I was better. II was okay, just too much blat blat and that girls accent made me wanna punch someone.
ITT: Movies everyone loves.
Pandorum, I never hear people talking about it, but I really love it!
District 9, I loved the hell out of that movie but my grandfather had no idea what was going on.
I would have to agree with Pandorum too, I absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was amazing, it kind of reminded me of Prey, the old 1999 AVP game, and certain parts of Doom 3 and Half-Life 1 and even Metro 2033. I guess it's just a kind of atmosphere I really like for some reason.
Moon
What the fuck are you on. No one hates Moon. That's one of the best films of 2009.
Twilight. I highly enjoyed all the movies. There, I said it.
Boondock Saints I was better. II was okay, just too much blat blat and that girls accent made me wanna punch someone.
boondock saints 2 was terrible. they ruined it with the extra characters, especially the mexican guy and fucking RITA
Street Fighter with Jean-Claude Van Damme. Come on, it's so bad it's loveable.
I agree with this and it's better than the new one which was a piece of shit.
Everyone bitched about the movie turning into a slasher flick near the end, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
Cloverfield Inglourious Basterds Identity [editline]08:58AM[/editline] Friday the 13th (the remake)
Everyone bitched about the movie turning into a slasher flick near the end, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
Nobody bitched about it turning into a slasher flick, however everybody rightfully bitched that it had a fucking retarded ending.
I actually really liked Johnny Mnemonic. Everyone I know thats seen it really hates it but for some reason I just think its so damn cool. Its just so... 90's. I also just can't get enough of low budget and usually crappy 80's and 90's sci fi. Stuff like Class of 1999, Hardware, and Nemesis. The effects are garbage, the acting is terrible and the story is dumb but I just love these kinds of movies. [editline]11:40PM[/editline] I have the strangest feeling that nobody here has the slightest clue about what I'm talking about.
Fantastic Mr. Fox; It went straight to DVD in America apparently. EDIT: Scratch, the majority of the reviews on IMBD are very good. But it does seem underrated considering how it was never in theaters in America apparently.
I know there are a lot of people who love The Hitchhiker's Guide to Galaxy, but I think it was one of the best movies I've ever watched, and a quite decent adaptation of the books. Nobody else seems to share the same opinion.
I do love h2g2, but most people just don't like it for the very special sense of humor they have.
The Core. I think i have met maybe 1 other person that actually enjoyed this movie. Sure it was cheesy and total bollocks, but it was still an awesome watch.
Only reason I thought it was scary is because I thought it was real until a few years ago.
Stigmata. Army of Darkness.
I'm a total faggot for anything Disney, so I enjoy a lot of the shit sequels they put out nowadays. I agree they're shit, but I like watching them.
I'm a total faggot for anything Disney, so I enjoy a lot of the shit sequels they put out nowadays. I agree they're shit, but I like watching them.
Eh, Old disney (basically any of the ones in technicolour) > new disney. Fox and the hound <3
Rescuers II: Down Under.
Rescuers II: Down Under.
That was actually one of the best sequels Disney has ever put out. Then again, even that came out in the 90s, when their movies were still decent.
MST3K version was epic.
Moon
People hated Moon?
Eagle Eye
The Mist.
The new one? Yeah, I liked it a lot actually. [editline]09:05PM[/editline]
Army of Darkness.
What? People hated Army of Darkness? what the shit
