when i followed the US elections, i went to bed soon after they had started counting the votes. early on, Trump was leading but Hillary looked like she might catch up. i remained hopeful as i went to sleep and of course i woke up to a new, weird world where Donald Trump is the president of the United States of America so if this is looking sort-of optimistic for Doom now, and i go to bed hopeful for the forum's future, and then wake up early tomorrow morning to find that Furry Ears has basically already taken the whole damn thing in a landslide, i'll probably just have to shake 2016's hand for the impressive pile of tomfoolery it has managed to pull TWICE, and then tell university scientists to cryogenically freeze me until anime has been burned off the face of the planet
