The joke wasn't really funny past the OP (or at all imo) but for some reason people are still going on about it like 20 pages in lol.
I voted for Sgt. Doom, not because of the purging of the animes (though I wouldn't mind) but because of stability and sanity. During his career as a slavic game enhancer, he purged me from most of my anime and filled me deep inside with alcoholic tendencies and better posting.
He might also lobbied me with future slavic game enhancements, but this is something I cannot comment about.

I say it again: If Doom or Reagy wins with 1-20 votes I find its democracy pretty dull and non-thought through. As a progressive community we must go into every detail, by introducing an additional 1 versus 1 voting poll, were every member that did not vote for Doom or Reagy, can share their voice in the finale. It's pretty obvious that Reagy has lots of anime supporters, while Doom has the anti-anime supporters, etc. So what is the harm (while it's the complete opposite) to let the other more "sort of" neutral opinions could share their perspective, so it won't be 90% bias in the end. Isn't that what a democracy is all about? Who knows, maybe it turns out those voters actually believed 100% on Reagy or Doom, and in this way we have a method that would decrease the chance of an election that turns out to be 50-50, and that's unbalanced chaos; take USA for example.
