Most of em just seem to get run over by busses or ambulances.
The Final Destination series is supposed to be black comedy, not straight horror, if I recall. The ridiculous deaths make perfect sense, if that's true.
The first was one actually pretty damn good, in my opinion. It was a fairly original movie at the time. But of course it all went downhill from there.
This movie probably wont be any better, but seeing it in 3-D might make it more entertaining.

That's another thing I didn't like; ever since the girl in the first Final Destination got hit by a bus, the other films began making it a quick kill with little imagination and nothing new to add to the death.

If you don't like it, don't watch it. I personally enjoyed the movie. The 3D made it even better.
The 2nd one was where it got stupid for me. The entire highway crash scene was so stupid.
"LOOK, A HUGE CRASH ON THE HIGHWAY IN FRONT OF ME! I BETTER SPEED UP!!"
That, and every car rolling over for 10 minutes, just because it hit a puddle, and then exploding for no reason.
The first one was okay though.

It was an admirable attempt but really wasn't Donnie Darko. But it wasn't [I] horrible [/I].
I think that they probably should have stopped this series after the second movie.
The first two were at the very least stoyline important to each other,
the third is a standalone movie that just references the others.
Also the first two killed off the characters in creative ways without making me want to vomit.
I am by no means squeamish but the third movie seemed to overplay the gore a little too much,
at which point it just sort of became a snuff film for me.
I'm sure there's a demograph out there that can be appealed to by watching bimbos melt in a freak tanning accident or some angsty goth get nailed through the face about fifteen times, but I am not in that demograph.
Edit: I forgot to mention that most films that advertise so heavily on a gimmick: control their fate, 3-D; is usually horrible because it finds a need to use said gimmick as a crutch, see Jaws 3-D

Fuck that, I'm not going to see it until they decide to make it Final Destination 4 or atleast 4inal Destination, 10 years from now when I have kids old enough to see it and they want to watch some old horror movies from the 90s, they're going to think it's a goddamn remake.
I think the people saying a pool sucking the ass of people and disembowling them is common are full of bullshit.
Reminds me of FF, Tony Hawk, Saw, and Pokemon. I just want them to stop. Seriously.

I saw this, it wasn't as good as MBV3d as far as 3d horror goes.
The best part, imo, wasn't even an effect it was a line "I finished four minutes ago". Second best part WAS an effect...chain link fence, 'nuff said.
Me and my friends went to it. We fucking laughed our ass off and made fun of it the entire time. Oh my god, it was terrible, but we laughed so hard it was worth it.

Seriously, if anyone took this movie seriously, they are stupid as hell. This movie was a joke, a joke I died laughing at.
