It's the little things like this that make me like Obama.
I can't wait until the election is over and people take down those horrible ugly campaign signs.
I plan to go out Wednesday morning and just pick up as many of them I can grab on public spaces and drive to the nearest recycling center to dump them.

Really? Some low level financier made the decision. Not Obama. Honestly this is the most pathetic thing about most Obama fans. They think that he personally made every decision nationwide in his campaign.

That's the problem with Americans in general. They think the president controls every aspect of everything.
If anything happens that they don't like and don't understand, blame the president.
If anything good happens with a president they like in office, it's because of how great the president is.

I am not attributing the decision to Obama himself. I am happy that someone in his campaign decided that the financial cost of using American made t-shirts was worth the tiny amount of integrity and credibility it gave the campaign. Mitt Romney's campaign does not have that.
I am not saying that it makes a difference in who you should vote for, I just appreciate it.
and
Pathetic? I find it more pathetic that you find a reason to complain about a tiny thing that I happen to like about his campaign.
It's not just you. I see it happen a LOT on Facepunch. And it drives me up the wall.
True. People think the President has a personal hand in everything, and that is definitely not true.
Still, the President makes some major hiring decisions, and those people make hiring decisions, etc.
if you vote romney you are literally retarded
don't you believe in America?
It's not just you. I see it happen a LOT on Facepunch. And it drives me up the wall.
Neither candidate really has anything to do with that image. I just thought it was funny & accurate
Do people here really believe that Romney is a "super evil rich guy who wants to kill the poor and have his rich buddies shoot all the puppies in the head" kind of guy? It's fair to criticize his economic policy and other policies, but the attacks on his character are low. I will admit I used to think poorly on Obama's character, and that he had an agenda to destroy the US, but now I am just against his policies. Neither one is evil, and neither one I believe can fix the problems 100%, I just happen to agree more with Romney than Obama. Romney wasn't my first choice, but he is the alternative to the current administration, so that is why he received my vote.
What bothers me about Romney the most is the fact that he flip flops so often with almost all of his positions that it's very difficult to know what he'd actually do in the White House. Voting for him is almost like rolling a dice IMO.
At least with Obama his positions stayed kind of static and I know what I'm voting for.

yea thats why I voted for O. At least I know what I'm voting for.
i'm not an enthusiastic supporter though, the only thing I really like about the Prez is his policy on homeland defense.
I want to vote, but I'm not registered and I don't know where to go for that, or if they would even have a registration and / or voting booth within walking distance.
I really don't think that either candidate is going to be able to do much.
Everyone always says it's the president, but he's not the only guy in our government. We have a whole Congress full of people to decide whether the president's plans will work.
Obama's spent the past four years trying to make it easier for his other plans to happen, and there's always going to be more problems every day. It ain't easy being president.

Depending on your state, you might be too late for eligibility. For example, here in PA you have to get your registration in 30 days before the next election.
You can register for the next election, though, most state government sites have the forms you can fill out on their websites. All you need to do is send it in the mail to your nearest registration office, which you can usually find on state sites as well.

Vote Obama and every day will be this day.
Every fucking day.

I missed my deadline.
I registered back in May, but I never got a voter registration card or confirmation that I registered even with 5 days remaining.
To me, voting is a waste of gas money. Between electronic vote fraud, the electoral college (despite my living in a large swing state), and the duopolistic nature of elections in this country, why bother?

Jay Smooth actually has a really good video on this exact issue:

Voting for romney because by the time he's in office he'll be a socialist.

Well said; left-wing socialism is not the only variety.

I was being sarcastic; didn't know that was a thing

Haha wow this sounds awful
[editline]1st November 2012[/editline]
Also, Obama's up to 79% chance of a win on 538. Woop.
Seeing as the left-right dichotomy is just that, I just call the whole mess 'socialism'.
Edit - Also, it is possible to speak truth in jest.

Looks like I'm screwed then, damnit. I knew you couldn't register on the same day as the elections, but I never heard about needing to do it a month in advance.
Welp, all I can do is hope my countrymen aren't as crazy as they appear.
