How do you even have the audacity to post this?
He posted a source saying that Romney is not with the NRA and is for gun-control, and you just reply saying "not true"?
are you literally stupid
go look at your waifu calendar / check wikipedia and remind me who was president during hurricane katrina
the katrina gun grab wasn't under the president's orders
Romney has the backing of the NRA, along with most gun enthusiasts.
Messing with second amendment rights is a bad, bad idea.
And the amount of money the big O has managed to spend during his term is absolutely in-fucking-sane.
did you read the quote or did the excitement of your favorite pistol resting gently under your chin distract you from the fact that the quote was:
1. “I don’t line up with the NRA.”
ie romney doesn't line up with the NRA, not the other way around
the katrina gun grab wasn't under the president's orders
then what the fuck is your point
American Politics always give me a headache, I know that probably not a whole lot will change because one side or the other gets in. But I'll just say Obama because, he's better than Romney.
I really wish I could give a multitude of reasons why Obama is the best President we ever had other than "He's not Romney". But I can't because these elections are more like watching Hollywood celebrities than a view on an important time in our country. And as for not a whole lot changing, I wish that there would be an election with high stakes so that not only would my personal views be challenged to actually think really hard as to candidates and who to vote for in November, but also to feel like my choice could actually be why something important would happen in this country or not, instead of the "just vote for the guy that's all for the better instead of the worse" thing we always do every election. In the end this election would probably go to Obama anyway, and then a few more years of "feels like not a whole lot has happened to be", and then another election for the least terrible choice for president, and then another choice for least terrible person to put in office and so on and so on, until some inevitable thing happens, changes our country majorly in some way, shape, or fashion (to just guess), that affects the rest of us in a combination of good and bad.
I think Romney is a bit exaggerated. Is he a bad person? Yeah. Is he the new Super Fascist Hitler 64? Not really.
Is Obama a cool guy to have a literal beer with? Of course. Is he helping our country progress much better than a decade ago? Definitely. Is he the new Robo Jesus destined to save us completely from the horrors of racism, bigotry, rich businessmen, and Donald Trump's Toupee? Of course not, don't be silly now. He's done alot to help make less of all that stuff, (except for the toupee), but to get rid of all racism for example is an impossible task. To rid the world of all hatred and bigotism is like imagining the supreme trenchcoat and gas mask bisexual utopia.
Both of the real choices suck and the third parties have absolutely no hope of winning. I'll be voting for Mickey Mouse, and you should too.
Honestly, people really disregard third parties in this day and age. They've never won the election once, sure, but there have been several Presidential elections in the past where third parties had a pretty large stake in the electoral vote. However, people are caught up in this notion that third parties can't win, and that's what ultimately lead to their downfall.

he didn't line up with the NRA in 1994. The NRA has changed considerably since then.
Up until recently the NRA believed that more than 5 bullets in a rifle is stupid
Romney has the backing of the NRA, along with most gun enthusiasts.
so
Obama has the backing of socialists in America.
didn't really mean anything
what does mean something is him saying that he likes gun control and banning assault weapons like my sources said pretty clearly
And the amount of money the big O has managed to spend during his term is absolutely in-fucking-sane.
"the big O" lmao
you do know budgets aren't single-handedly made and put into effect by the president right
he didn't line up with the NRA in 1994. The NRA has changed considerably since then.

lol romney has drastically changed all of his political opinions just to appease dumbass gun nuts who are willing to do mental gymnastics rivaling that of olympic gold medalists just to say he isn't a hypocrite
love that you just glossed over romney supporting gay marriage too
He made the statement that he didn't line up with the NRA in 1994. It seems things have changed since then.

I'm not voting this year,because:
In one hand, I have Mr. Barack Obama, a Gun-Control loving, illegal loving, Bolshevik.
In the other, I have Mr. Romney, a silver spoon Mormon who has very little idea of what he's doing.
In the magical third hand, I have the Third Party garbage.
Sure, Obama lowered unemployment, good for bloody him, but he's raised my taxes to a point were I have to ask my parents in Scotland to send me money, and currency exchange isn't instant.
Sorry if I don't support your bloody views, rest of Facepunch, but I'm my own damn man, so ta' hell with ya.
GOODNIGHT, AND GOD SAVE THE QUEEN
oh wait I found something that I should add to the OP as well
it applies to my OP since I did not cite anything at all

then again I barely said anything that required citing

I did not like using the term "flipflop" until Romney came along
[editline]8th September 2012[/editline]
Also, did I make it clear enough in the OP that Romney is not as conservative as he wants to sound? This is a very important part of his campaign and possible election.

somewhere along the lines you forgot that I don't support romney either
somewhere along the lines you forgot that I don't support romney either

What factors do you see in Romney that would make him a better President?
that was the original ~debate topic~
somewhere along the lines you forgot that I don't support romney either
Then why were you defending him? Stop backpedaling god dammit.
somewhere along the lines you forgot that I don't support romney either
why are you even posting then
that was the original ~debate topic~
and if you noticed I never gave any positive points for Romney, just negatives for Obama.
and if you noticed I never gave any positive points for Romney, just negatives for Obama.
yes what a wonderful contribution to the thread, thanks for that
[editline]9th September 2012[/editline]
weren't even valid points lmao
and if you noticed I never gave any positive points for Romney, just negatives for Obama.
Well, in this two party system, if you are going after the negatives of the one party... that means you are in favor of the other party
and if you noticed I never gave any positive points for Romney, just negatives for Obama.
no the question was "contrast romney with obama"
your contrast was wrong and we ended up deducing that obama and romney had the same beliefs on those issues you cited
srsly stay on one topic how is anyone supposed to know when you suddenly decided to pick a different topic GODAMN
why are you even posting then
because you immediately went to flames as soon as I posted
there's so much valid stuff to criticize obama for but you constantly go for the stupid republican talking points that have been proven to be utter shite time and time again
you could easily avoid being a fucking terrible poster if you would just either come out of the closet as a romney supporter or ditch the conservative radio talking points and go for some valid criticisms of obama
somewhere along the lines you forgot that I don't support romney either
I actually kind of liked Ron Paul, but getting someone else to vote for you...?
Well, in this two party system, if you are going after the negatives of the one party... that means you are in favor of the other party
yes because everything is black and white no questions I can't support the libertarian party, thisispain can't like jill stein, and god forbid someone hates them all
you really just post a rage comic dog?
I was going to vote for Obama in November, but then he personally broke down my front door and stole all of my guns. Heck, I don't know what I would do without my Colt .45 by my side for one day.
Not to mention, I heard he's going to add to the debt! Wow, sounds like a real jerk. If you had the choice between raising the debt or lowering it, why would you pick the worse one!!! Doesn't sound like a real team player.
