Florida just turned blue!
That seems behind. The CNN map shows Florida at 63% in. He's still ahead.
Wait a second, aren't some states voting on the legalization of marijuana tonight too?
Possibly. I know Puerto Rico is voting on the possibility of statehood tonight, too.
i want the guy with the nice smile to win
um
On MSNBC they're having pretty nice conversations and constant results. One guy suggested a law saying you can pass laws but they can't take effect for like 20 years so you can't influence current elections.

so....what would actually happen if Romney was elected?
The U.S. might go into a recession?

I'm scared of Mitt. He's like a civil rights nightmare.

who knows
maybe the 2012 predictions were right...
Map updated. 65 Obama to Romney's 76. Hasn't factored in California yet. Or Ohio or Florida.

Who knows? Romney used to be a moderate before the election, but he has flip flopped on every issue in the known universe since he entered.
Basically, he's the political equivalent of rolling dice as far as I'm concerned.

it would invite all the republican cronies to start pushing their own terrible agenda's
it's the same thing that happened during the Bush and Reagan years.
you can argue that Romney and Obama aren't hugely different, but the people who they curry favour with are.

because stop thinking that the obvious republican states are going to do anything in a few hours

Then we're fucked.

Jay Smooth did a good video on this, basically saying that since Romney is a blank slate we need to look at who he's staffing his campaign with and who he would staff his White House with if elected. And it's all dudes who used to work for Dick Cheney. So a Romney presidency would probably be pretty neocon.
