Well, it took some bribery and the such, but I managed to procure proof of Mitt's thugness. Such is life for Mitt. He goes hard as fuck in the paint. Nigga is for real.
Also no new changes to the banme/toxx list still.
already made a bet for 10 dollars if obama won
prevents small states from being ignored and avoids issues with margin of error
I don't see how those are valid enough 'issues' to leave your vote in the hands of someone else.
So how are senators and house members elected?
Senators are voted from the whole state every 6 years (although technically not directly voted in by constituents, since all the individual state governments appoint Senators to their seats; it's like a proposition IIRC but it's never been ignored in the country's history), while Congressmen are elected based on election districts which are placed based on the population of the state for 2 years. The combined total of Senators and Congressmen a state has determines electoral votes for the presidency, and every state has 2 senators.
This thread is slowing down, come on guys. Distract me.

hey can we stop acting like the current numbers actually mean anything (they don't)
What's this about Romney leading in California? I haven't seen anything tallied for Cali yet, and I also don't understand how that's possible. Unless everybody in California was SO high that they didn't know what button they were pressing.

california don't make me be ashamed to be a californian
CNN's contributors are beginning to call Romney's struggle in Florida to be hopeless. CNN willl probably keep the charade up until they get to the final percentages, but once Florida lands in Obama's column, it should be over.

I think something that most people don't realise is that the future of Afghanistan also hinges on this election. Obama wins - toops pull out earlier than they probably should, Afghan government falls, Taliban makes huge gains, afghan army can't defend itself or hold ground that we've put so much time and work into. Everything I've watched and every serviceman I've talked to seem to lean in this direction. The country is screwed if we leave. If we do, everyone who fought and sustained injury or lost their life did so in vain. If you disagree with this you're a selfish person. Afghanistan is dependant on all ISAF forces, particularly the US.
Nvm answered above.
If Obama wins, I will take a picture of my cat stretching out in the window.
