Alcoholism isn't something that you aim to develop. I'm not a big fan of drinking because both sides of my family have history of alcohol abuse. I just drink in social situations now, and if I [I]want[/I] to, which is rare. There's no need for someone under the legal age to drink, at all. It just leads to problems. Lots of them.

Drinking when you're young is a bad combination with drinking when you're sad, and it's a seriously common start to alcoholism.
