That's the thing about being the ideas guy though. If you wanna get things done beyond that, you're definitely gonna wanna compensate people. You'll probably get very sub par art if you're not offering anything in return. And for something like pixel animations, that's something you don't wanna skimp on, especially if you want something that's even remotely quality. I'd keep working on your game idea, and if you're super serious about it, start shopping around for artists and get a sort of imaginary budget in your mind of how much you would need to make sure an artist can get paid for and fed, in a manner of speakin', y'know? Art is hard and time consuming. It's kinda no fun when you work for hours for something that's not even yours only to receive nothing in return for it.

I do not post anywhere near enough to get gold any time soon.
